I like him and I think he has a potential. He needs to move quickly, make noise and he's gt a damn good chance to get a fight with AJ. I think he'll loose against AJ, but would give him a decent chance against Parker. He needs to do a lot of improvements though - defense, timing, pacing and in the pros he needs to learn to conserve energy for the later rounds. Good addition to the HW division though and would sure gives us some exciting fights.

He looks impressive because of his power and work rate. But he spends too much time on the ropes, this will make him vulnerable against the big, fast punchers of the division. Spending too much time on the ropes was his weakness against pressure fighters in the amateurs because he didn't trade with them but used ropes too much,I think he have chin issues. He has two 1 round TKO losses in the amateurs in one year. That and his loss to Demerizen, who is relentless pressure fighter shows that he has problems with pressure fighters who have power. His second fight with Demerizen showed his vulnerability once again, so someone like Kuzmin, Demerizen and Romanov always will be his downfall.

This is Joyce's second fight with Demirizen. Joyce won this fight but lost on my scorecard. He took so much punishment in this fight because of Demrizen's style.

This is the blueprint on how to beat him:

I think he's awful and he's 32, where's he been. No hook, absolutely zero power and gets hit loads. Was blowing a bit after a few rounds too.

Frazer Clarke who just won gold at the Commonwealth Games rates Joyce very highly. In addition to Clarke fighting Joyce 4 times in the amateurs and sharing a ring with him in sparing many times, Clarke has sparred hundreds of rounds if not more with the current three-belt unified HW champ AJ.

Dave Allen rates Joyce very highly too. Allen has also sparred hundreds of rounds with AJ, sparred Tyson Fury, and like Clarke he's also shared a ring with many other top HWs.

Joyce might win a belt but all you need to beat Joyce is power, good legs and chin. Demerizen, Kuzmin and Hamza Beguerni had these attributes.

Yeah... I think he's improved quite a bit since then, you know, like he should have won Gold at the Olympics.;) Guess who else was KO'd in the amateurs, Wilder and AJ, but one can hope right houmzz?

Deal With It, The Juggernaut is here to stay.:deal:

Ha, I like that description there, unfortunately I don't rate Joyce what so ever. I actually think he's terrible. Someone even like Price who can match his size with decent skill will stop him imo

I can agree in part but Joyce needs to cover up much much better to do better against top opposition.

I saw Usyk easily box circles around Joyce, it was no contest at all, yet Joyce was 6 feet 6 inches tall and out weighed Usyk by a ton, Usyk is only 6 feet 3 inches tall, a cruiserweight, yet Usyk did a fantastic job of beating Joyce!

Romanov who is much smaller would match him in every department, I can guarantee you that.
