What I mean is, Pov gets sparked in with Joshua. Parker seems sturdy as ****, tough man, bigger and stronger than Pov

Joyce brushed aside Thomas with as you'd hope from a good prospect. Yes he does look sloppy at times, misses a lot and is easy to hit. His foot work is a real issue for me, he's a plodder but luckily he's tall and rangy so he gets away with it to some degree, but Thomas was able to hit him to the body at will, Wilder or Joshua would of used their quicker feet to easily step out of range from those body shots.

He also has no real inside game, he needs space to throw which is why he was having to push Thomas away to create space to throw. I also see the comparisons to Foreman, he has a similar clumsy, clubbing style and relentless pressure. Though Foreman has a far better jab, better right hand and likely far more power.

But for all his flaws and ugly style, Joyce is pretty damn effective. Yes a good mover like Usyk or Fury would likely box circles around him if they can keep him out of position to throw by using their feet. A good inside fighter who will have no problem getting inside due to his slow feet could also give him problems if he is strong enough not to get manhandled when he is inside. But the work rate, the pressure if you can't get out of the way or push him back yourself will grind a lot of guys down.

 

Parkers a robust mofo, Pov has been dropped in his career, its not rocket science. Just looking at them you can tell ones built stronger.

Joyce is unfightable with his style. I predict a very promising future for Joyce. Will be a Top 10 HW soon.

 

I strongly recommend to the bomb squad, that they contact the president, and keep this Joe Joyce out the way of the WBC top 10 rankings. Him and Daniel Dubois, could be a potential threat to Deontay, and they must be denied all opportunities at all cost.

 

He looks really bad tbf, but he gets the job done and somewhat impressively.
