Joyce is already potentially going to beat Wilder thru Fury on December 1st.

This IS one of those fights where Wilder will be facing more then what many expect Fury to be.

kind of like Povetkin was having Sirenko and Dubois in preparation for Joshua which made a huge difference, however Joshua is a far better fighter then Wilder and Joyce is a major factor in Furys camp for this one.

Touches on his next fight against Gerald Washington, some of the fighters he's shared a ring in with sparring, his fight against Usyk and the later's prospects at HW and his fight against Bellew, sparring Fury and Fury vs Donkey, and AJ vs Donkey. He's also been sparring WBA interim CW champ Arsen Goulamirian over in Big Bear and said he's really strong and solid.

It's always painful to watch Joyce being interviewed he clearly finds the whole experience very uncomfortable and gets very nervous. Luckily he's much more relaxed in the ring.

Probably the reason why 90 % of the time Haye is usually by his side doing the talking.

Yeah. Dubois makes him look like Tyson Fury, though lol. That said, JJJ's just a big lovable giant and he always comes across as a really likeable nice guy and I would never hold someone being shy against them like some of his detractors do on the YT comments for the vid. In fact, I find it quite endearing. I've heard Dubois being interviewed on radio before and he seemed more relaxed and less monosyllabic in that setting than he does on camera.

Yeah Joyce does come across as likable he doesn't have the personality you'd expect from someone who wanted to punch people in the face for a living. I mean the guy as a fine arts degree. I bet he stood out during life study classes, people probably thought he was the model not a student looking to draw and paint.

That said, if Triple J is as reckless against Old Man River Ortiz as he has been against these other dudes he's been fighting there's a high chance he'll gets sparked out early. He might catch Ortiz and take him out first but it would be utter lunacy for him to wade in and leave himself as wide open as he usually does against a big, powerful counter puncher with skills like Ortiz.

Shyness ive seen really f up peoples chances at stuff, after a certain age its a major negative in your life. Btw, I wouldn't hold it against anyone, shy people are usually on the level and the opposite of shy when you get to know them !

Joe Joyce is a very interesting prospect in the Heavyweight division amongst the guys on the rise. An Olympic silver medalist has to be taken seriously. I also sense he is prepared to fight anybody. He and Efe Ajagba are the standouts to me. I don’t think we can refer to the undisputed Cruiserweight champion Usyk as a prospect as we know he is the real deal. The question with Usyk is we need to know how great Usyk is? I remember the predictions of the late great Manny Steward who predicted both Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder rising to the top and he was very excited about the potential of AJ. He also predicted post Lennox Lewis the dominant forces in heavyweight boxing coming from Russia/the old Soviet block and Nigeria/Africa. The Klitschko’s, Povetkin, Pulev, Ike Ibeabuchi, Samuel Peter, Herbie Hide, Henry Akinwande, Anthony Joshua have proved this right. I think Uysk, Ajagba and Joyce May continue this trend. I think it’s shocking that the 2nd best American Heavyweight at this time maybe Big Baby Miller. Food for thought!
