Wilder still got the same stick as DDD but I posted on the fight thread the man is a warrior and would still wipe the floor with the Matchroom puddings

I agreed with everything he said until he looked down on Dubois counting himself out, regardless if he'd won a dodgy decision his eye was completely shut and he can fight another day. Dave Allen quit against price mentally its not the same and certainly not better than Dubois quitting.

This fight had shades of Ugonoh v Breazeale without the fireworks

Great win for Joe Joyce. He basically beat Dubois with one hand.

Seemed like a lot of people in this thread were giving Dubois rounds if he threw anything at all. I think I gave Dubois three rounds.

Solid win. That left isn't slow.

It’s pretty bad like but it’s still not as bad as your most recent world heavyweight champion wilder and his kidnapping of the belt and his excuses for losing, the reason that all our British heavyweights are so overrated is because you have nothing let’s get that straight

I always tell my son theres no shame in losing a fight but theres shame in quitting

That said, Dubois is a young man and I think he felt his eye go and just panicked in the moment.

There was no victory in a dodgy points win or even a draw he really need a Bryant Jennings sort of fight before Joyce

Fish eyes just said on BT that he’s making the rematch next. Apparently Dubois didn’t quit he just took the knee for BLM and to make a point on the big stage. Fair play to the man.

Yeah, those who said it was too early for Dubois were proven right. It's so obvious in hindsight. They counted on Dubois power being enough to stop Joyce before it went late and it didn't work out. He's still young so lets see how he comes back.

I think he panicked earlier. If you watch him going back between rounds from 5 rounds onwards he looked like he was in shock that someone was standing up to him. Reminded me of the big school bully who when someone who can fight hits back they crumble as they have never been challenged before.

Yeah, he definitely panicked earlier. I even commented that he looked desperate during the fight. Yeah, definitely seems the bully type. Spot on.

I respected the fight in Wilder personally. He never quit he wanted to carry on.
