Got to love Freddie Roach. No matter what happens, he is always composed in the corner.
He knows how to read his fighters emotions and how to get their attention.
If he wants to pep them up, he will do so, but he will calmly get their attention first.

Competitive it might have been.....but both are nowhere near as good as folk have spoken them up to be. Stating an opinion is not whining

I've watched this on a South American channel and their scorecard was like first round to Joyce and the rest to Dubois up until 7th I think, which in my opinion was absurd, Joyce easily won rounds with the jab.

In any case, this is a match making disaster of FWarren. Dubois would need at least 2 more years and 6-7 more fights of B+ level before even considering to step in with a massive, seasoned pro like Joyce.

Joyce fights like Foreman. Was never troubled and always looked relaxed.

Dubois will come again, still very young. Needs to go to the US to train and learn hooks and head movement.

Respect to Joyce. That pedigree showed through.

I thought Dubois would take his head off so full credit to Joyce

Solid chin and jab and stuck to his gamelan

Looks like there only will be two big guns in the heavyweight division for the foreseeable future then.

Dubois can go again hes got youth on his side but if he can't take pain, easier said than done, he's gonna struggle to get anywhere.

    Well done Joe.

Joyce won the battle of the jabs, had the better head movement and defence, and was the more skillful better boxer of the two. Joyce might look ungainly but he's very effective and people need to stop underrating him. He put on a jab clinic and broke Dubois down. Dubois is young and inexperienced and he fought well and he can and will come again. Not many other HWs will be able to withstand his power like Joyce.

Thought Joyce showed good stamina - I think as long as he avoids Fury he has a chance with Joshua or Usyk. Joyce vs Wilder would be fun but unlikely to happen

Dubois will struggle to come back from that. His heart has gone.
