Dhliwayo is making his pro debut and is the nephew of Chisora? I think the commentators said nephew.

 

Dhliwayo easily takes the opening round with non stop pressure and solid bodywork.
Gomez is completely outgunned and fully focused on defense.

 

Wtf? Gomez started his career at 8-0-1 and has since gone 0-32-2.
Only been stopped 6 times.

 

2-0 Dhliwayo
Gomez spends the entire round being pressured from one corner to the other. In the last minute Dhliwayo traps Gomez on the ropes and launches several punishing body assaults.
Gomez tries his best to fire back but is just a step behind.

 

3-0 Dhliwayo
Dhliwayo comes out targeting the body again and continues to pressure Gomez.
Dhliwayo traps Gomez in a corner and stuns him with a quick left hook upstairs. Dhliwayo continues to just buzzsaw through Gomez, who refuses to go down.
Dhliwayo finishes the round with two beautiful straight lefts to the dome of Gomez.

Dhliwayo continues as usual but Gomez is throwing back more than before.
Dhliwayo hurts Gomes with a body shot during an exchange.
Dhliwayo doing his best to get the stoppage but Gomez is on his bike and does his best to survive.

 

All 3 judges have it 40-36

Solid debut for Dhliwayo. He couldn´t get the stoppage but it wasn´t for lack of trying. And he had Gomez hurt on several occasions.

Gomez drops to 8-33-3.
He already has a fight scheduled for next weekend vs another debutant

 

Immediately to the ring walks for the next fight! Hell yea!

 

Kaddour Hmiani vs Umar Khan - 8 rounds at Featherweight

 

1-0 Khan.
Hmiani tags Khan with two right hands in the opening 10 seconds.
Khan takes his time to settle into the round, while establishing his jab.
Khan lands a few sneaky uppercuts and tags Kmiani with a few good shots to close the round.

 

2-0 Khan
Counter right hook from the southpaw stance sends Kmiani to the canvas.
Khan rushes Khmiani and tries to go for the kill.
Khan traps Khmiani on the ropes and just punishes him with combinations. Khmiani fires back but barely land anything clean.

*I was going to write how it seems like Khan hits way harder than his record would suggest. And down went Kmiani.

Khan hurts Kmiani with 10 seconds to go, goes for the kill and gets rocked himself.

 

Umar Khan is like a mixture of Josh Kelly and Amir Khan.
And I wager he takes a punch as well as Amir did at 135.

This has turned into a bit of a brawl now. Last minute is just a phone booth brawl. Hmiani badly hurt with 45 seconds to go, stuck in a corner as Khan tees off on him.
