Barney-Smith stepped it up, Barajas looked in trouble there.

*had to take a leak, missed the first minute.
Barney-Smith lands a smooth uppercut. Barajas lands a quick right hand,
Bif left from Barney-Smith! They again fence ad jab. Barney-Smith lands a quick right to the body, Barajas responds with a quick right upstairs.
They are starting to trade a bit more now. Both men landing upstairs and down.
Barajas with a right hand as Barney-Smith backs onto the ropes. Barajas ends the rounds with a quick flurry.

I think Barajas took this one, but I missed the first minute.

    4-2 Barney-Smith

Barajas opes up with a right hand, blocked. Barney-Smith lands his own blitz left.
Barajas pressuring, lands a partial right hand. 1-2 from Barney-Smith. Counter left from Barney-Smith. Barajas backs him onto the ropes but they tire up.
Shoeshine from Barajas, several of them but he fails to land anything clean.
Quick left from Barney-Smith, backs onto the ropes and clinches. Barajas lands an uppercut in the clinch.
They clinch again and wrestle, Barajas lands a handful of punches. They are separated but Barajas is relentless and runs back in there.
Barajas finishes the round with a quick combo.

I am giving Barajas the benefit of doubt here.
    4-3 Barney-Smith

Barney-Smith has looked a level above much of the time, but I can't give him rounds where he rests for 2 mins 30 seconds

Barajas gets Barney-Smith on the ropes and outworks him. Ref intervenes, separates them and Barajas again pressures Barney-Smith to the ropes, twice. Barajas lands a few punches.
They trade in the center ring and Barajas clearly outlands Barney-Smith.
Barney-Smith mainly just holding on, tis is somewhat pathetic. Barjas is just working as much as the ref allows him to.
    Clean Barajas round.

    I have it 4-4.
    5-3 Barney-Smith is completely reasonable.

Very, very limited. He seemed completely incapable of switching into another gear. Barajas on the other hand bit down on his gumshield and just kept pressuring and gave it his all.

Surprised how my own card turned out, Barajas clawed it back through sheer effort. That said, I think I gave Barajas the maximum possible. 5-3 or 6-2 Barney-Smith is viable.

    Barney-Smith...

Yea, way too wide. But to be expected.
Edit: Not too wide, but a bit wide.

First judge a bit stingy giving Barajas only one round.

I think Barajas would have needed to win 7 rounds to get a draw here.

    7th consecutive decision.
 Yea, one of the main card fights is definitely going the surprising 10/12 round distance.
