Joseph Obey Joyce vs. Joseph Dennis Parker & Michael Magnesi vs. Anthony Cacace RBR.

Interesting that the size-difference doesn't seem quite to be there any more - Parker looks confident and sure of himself. That's good because it's impossible for me to imagine him winning this without a fast start. He's giving grounding tiny incriments, jabbing, good jab to the gut, there's teh overhand right early, cedes a jab but landing punches of his own for sure. Joyce always looks a bit ponderous, but certainly Parker's quickness is making him look more so. Left to the body from square, calm down Parker...and the long jab from Joyce begins its inevitable journey. Parker is cornered but handles it well with a hard straight jab, then hooks his way out. He's putting them together early and dominates the first half of the round. Parker rushes Joyce across the ring with a number of hooks, Joyce holds them all on the gloves, and there's a decent right hand from the Kwiw. Fun fight. Parker is going to tire though - he can't work like this for long. H'es also taking more steps than Joyce.

Joyce loses the first round big though, but has probably begun the process of trapping already.
