As Joseph Parker is fighting for the IBF mandatory position, what does this mean for his number one ranking with the WBO? If Parker wins against Takam, does that mean he can choose to fight the winner of Fury v Klitschko II (WBO) or Martin v Joshua (IBF)? Can you be the mandatory challenger in two governing bodies?

Yes you can. Fury was a dual mandatory as well I believe, but both those belts belonged to Wlad at the time.

Once he fights for one of these belts, he loses the other position though.

I wonder if that's why Parker is only talking about fighting the winner of Joshua v Martin. He probably sees that as an easier route to a title rather than face Fury or Wlad (even though he is already number one with the WBO)

He's making a huge mistake if he believes such rubbish.. I highly doubt he believes that, I think he believes making millions for the chance to get lucky vs joshua is more sweet than getting a less than 1/4 that fighting fury is the reason.

Joshua represents retirement money while fury and wlad do not. If wlad were to score the upset he might try that route but that's possibly having to fight a stay busy fight waiting on the rubber match. Still better if he wants a belt
