Don't care; could've done without it. 250lb heavyweights are supposed to knock people out.

So why is Parker not getting the respect he is due here?

I wrote Parker off due to his apparent lack of energy, or motivation, or something in the ring. He looked just happy to be there and had no intention of winning vs Joshua or Joyce. I don't know what Andy Lee has said or done to get him excited about boxing, but it's worked.

Depends on how much respect you think he's due.

The dude lives next door to my best mate in Dublin, he isn't associated with Fury anymore. Andy Lee's the one showing him the ways of the master.

I always thought if you beat 2 top-5 guys in a row (both heaviest punchers in the division),

you might be due a little more respect.

    Am I wrong?

Rummy, this reminds me of an old story, told from elder to elder in my village. It is not for the juniors. There is an old bull cow and a young bull cow, and they stand atop a hill...top. Please, excuse me, English is not my first language. So, the young bull cow (male) observes that the plains (?) below the hill and the hill's top, they team with the moo cow (female?). Females of their species are all over, and it is very titillating and exciting and scintillating unto him. He looks to his elder, the father, and he says "Father, why do we not run down to these feminines, and we will easily love with one of them, the two of us, meat spit-roasting unto meat?" with a youthful confidence and vigor. The elder, the father bull cow (male) looks upon his boy/man child, and he says unto him "Son, why do we not just simply ease on down to there, and love unto them all?" Please, excuse this may not be translating properly, but I hope you get the drift. Zhang was the older one. But they are both the masculines-males.

Parker's done great work in his last two fights. He took risks and they paid off. He's back in the driving seat. Let's go Joe!

A lot for beating Wilder and Zhang back to back, two top 5 rated heavyweights. That’s far more impressive than Fury or AJ’s recent performances.

If Joe can dictate the pace of a fight, isn't under threat from a rangier opponent who he needs to move on and therefore isn't being physically pressured he can beat pretty much anyone...

He fell apart against AJ, clearly was spooked by his power early, didn't want to risk getting hit even though his chin was good enough and just got stuck on the outside and coasted

Joyce pressure crumbled him, his power not enough to move him and unable to dictate the pace in anyway

Zhang very static, could set the tempo, boxed him well and won on points despite knockdowns.
Wilder very static, could set the tempo which was basically 0, all he had to do was carefully work his way into range and outbox and maul Wilder which he did with ease

    Simply again, styles make fights.

On paper he should do better in the Zhang rematch but big men do big men things. Always dangerous.

Since Joe is becoming great at "taking away" the big shots of many heavies

What he is doing is "dialing down"
