As I have already mentioned, boxing has progressed and a modern and huge fighter like Parker would not hesitate to enter the ring to fight Joe Frazier, Joseph Parker would play with him and flatten him in the later rounds.

Parker got a very controversial decision vs a poor man's version of Frazier in Chisora.

And a obese 6'0 short armed pressure fighter in Ruiz arguably beat Parker aswell.

    So I'd say a no.

This current version of Parker is a lot better at planting his feet and timing power punches, he can jab, he can measure with the lead and time power punches with the opponent’s head movement, he’s patient with it and is defensively responsible, he doesn’t get nervous under pressure or allow himself to get outworked, and he can obviously still box on the backfoot, if not more effectively now, just with the added threat of being timed.

He can punch with both hands and is lightening fast, has the important, mean uppercut as well, added to the fact he is nearly 270lbs, and is effective at that weight also.

Any pressure fighter who’s Frazier’s size is gonna struggle against that.

He’s improved immensely even since the Chisora fights.

    In what way ?

If anything his latest performances have flattered him.

He beat a shell of Wilder who no longer throws the right hand.

Beat Zhang in an unimpressive display after being floored twice.

And beat an out of shape jetlagged Bakole who had 24 hours to prepare for a world class fight after jumping off the couch.

If anything he's more than likely on PEDs now suddenly gaining 20 pounds of solid mass which is way above his normal career weight Is a bit sus.

The eye test also, he clearly looks more comfortable under pressure, or when hurt, looks more balanced and co-ordinated under every situation, rather than turning away, or letting emotions get the better over the gameplan, he’s far more business like.

Yeah but the eye test you're talking about has some context behind it you're missing.

    Wilder had nothing to offer.

Bakole had 24 hours to prepare and was not in shape.

The Zhang fight was a good win on paper but it wasn't exactly a stand out performance it was a dull fight and Parker was on the floor twice. And had to rely on Zhang's poor gas tank to get over the line in the final few rounds.

Parker did get beaten up comprehensively by Joyce after the Chisora fights let's not forget that.

I want to see more of Parker vs notable opposition it's a pity the Dubois fight didn't come off because then we really would've seen what Parker was made of.

As of now Parker is a bit of an unknown quantity and I suspect he could be on PEDs now aswell.

Frazier was not on PEDs, so that's another advantage for Parker right there.

(That said, most elite heavyweights are probably on something, if they follow the trend of other elite athletes. Even the list of guys who got caught is long.)

Late rounds, so it's this guy's first time in 13-15 and it's with Frazier, likely this guy's first time spending more than 4 days in a hospital too
