Levels above? Why because he is British? I rate Dillian along the lines of Bowie Tupou, someone who bustles in, defends with his forehead, and has a slight punches chance.

Did you not see when given the opportunity in Round 2 to put away Joshua, the footwork and punches thrown looked liked a epileptic fit?

I just wish I could put links (under 60 days membership), as I made a hilairious gif of that very moment...Dillian doing the chicken dance while throwing wild SLOPPY punches.

I don't agree with the assumption: JP brutally sledgehammers AJ into chop suey....I think a fight would be much closer than that...but the April fight of both fighters will show where things are at.

2016 will indeed show where these young guns are at.

Should be a great year for both

In rewatching that AJ - Whyte fight, I still think Whyte could have really hammered AJ in the 2nd round and got the win. AJ looked bad for 2 rounds after, but gradually got control.

I think Parker would have finished him.

I thought so beforehand but what you just said is the reason why I did this thread. The second round against Whyte convinced me of that, Parker has far better accuracy and stamina than Whyte and that wouldn't bode well for AJ.

Slow down son, you belong posting back on the front page.. that's where you'll have supervision.

The triangle bs rarely tells anything about future boutd. that's where you'll be supervised.

AJ is pretty dangerous, he's answered the questions. Now it's just a matter of time before him and DW own the division.

Over the next 3 to 5 years the 2 biggest fights and probably the 2 most potent explosively dangerous fights are,

    DW vs AJ
    GGG vs Kovalev

Hearn will not go near Parker, not when he can milk 400k ppv buys for guys like Whyte. Likely do the same for Chisora or Helenius, and even geriatric Briggs. Payday first, fight second.

If you get the chance, watch the Parker-Meehan fight. Meehan is still a strong fighter. Doubters should really watch that bout.

JP is very aggressive, explosive. Meehan was lucky to survive to Rnd 3

Yep... They wouldn't risk it against a fellow blue chipper like Parker unless a lot of money/title was at stake.... Maybe down the line.

I see on another thread (Povetkin is overrated) you mention Takam a few times, how do you think Parker would go vs Takam, because I am hearing that might become reality in April or July.

Such a step up in class, a sink or swim type of situation..... Parker could lose and he would still have a tremendous amount of upside. I won't say anything, it's one of those massive leaps in class where you either prove yourself or fail miserably. Let's see what happens should it be made. :good

Yep. AJ lovers won't see it that way, but the reality is that Parker is a more dangerous opponent than Whyte - Bowie Tupou (as someone else mentioned) is a bit like a Dillian Whyte but gotta give it to Whyte, Whyte would not have been dropped the way Parker was able to do to Tupou.

At the end of the day, Parker and Joshua are ranked similar - give or take and swapping back and forth a little in the rankings but people are calling Joshua out but dodging Parker.
