Joseph Parker is a nobody, I absolutely guarantee he will not do ANYTHING at HW.

Whyte would finish Tupou in a round, I mean he always KOs their common opponents ALOT quicker.

Dillian bangs harder than Joseph, is bigger, much longer reach, better skills, better chin. Whyte irons Parker out. Lets see if JP and his team have the stones to try and make the fight. I very much doubt they'll be reaching out to Whyte for a fight any time in the near future.

That's exactly why I said it for, so I could bring it up when he loses to some journeyman.

Haha if you think so. The reach and power are fair points but the rest are varying degrees of wrong. There is no point them fighting Whyte, they have beat higher ranked bigger names than Whyte already and this year will be about finding bigger fish to fry - Whyte no doubt would have a risk factor but without much reward so I don't see why that fight would make sense for them.

Parker - Takam could easily happen this year, strong rumors suggest.

A big step-up and I think Parker can KO him within 6.

    There's a prediction for you.

Typical quality British evaluation of anyone who compares a fighter with another Briton and concludes anything other than their decapitation :silly

I think using the DW-AJ fight as an example of why JP will win and the 2nd round is not a very good one. There is a lot of history between the fighters and DW did get to AJ on the build up and the loss in the amateurs, he did have a psychological advantage over him and he did fight on emotion.

Also following that huge first round where AJ had DW on ***** street with every shot landed, he got a little complacent, thought it would be an easy night and got sloppy. Later in the fight DW tried the same move and AJ coped with it fine.

It was very good experience for AJ and he learnt heaps from it.

My opinion is that, JP is too easy to hit and AJ will hit him because he has the size and reach advantage. When this happens he will not be able to hold up to it regardless of what his untested chin is like. You are going to say if DW can do it JP can, but like i said, he became too complacent.

Another thing, AJ came through adversity and was in trouble and dealt with it well. Re composed and fought smart from then on, and DW looked out of his depth, exactly how JP will be.

Congrats to Joseph Parker who went upto IBF # 6 overnight. He is WBO # 3 / WBC # 10 and 12 with the WBA.

May now fight in the IBF for the 'Mandatory' spot.

Exciting news alright. The potential fight lining up with Takam will quite possibly leap frog Anthony Joshua into the mandatory spot. Leaving a number of pundits to wonder why AJ is fighting a nobody in April...

    No - I don't think so, Naki.

The IBF likes to enforce proper Mandatory rules. I doubt AJ will play ball just yet.

Parker vs Takam may decide the Mandatory (hopefully).

AJ will not want it yet, in my view. Especially if he has to fight Takam or Parker for it.

There is a chance they may be looking at Parker-Whyte.

    Your thoughts?

Every bit as dangerous for Parker as it was for Joshua - could be argued that Joshua dodged a bullet by Whyte hurting his hand, he was there for the taking in the 2nd round.

I think Whyte has the power to take Parker out, probably anyone - he is an enourmous puncher though I think Parker potentially will fight a cleaner fight than Joshua against him... very interesting fight though I personally don't like it in terms of risk vs reward

Poor Joseph he won't get a chance to Sledgehammer Anthony Joshua Into A Heap Of Samoan Chop Suey......because Charles Martin will turn him into something resembling a Plate of St. Louis Spare Ribs first.:rofl
