According to ESPN UK, Joseph Parker has confirmed David Price or Hughie Fury as his possible next opponents http://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/story/...ury-price-wbo-heavyweight-title-fight-options Thoughts?
Price would be fun just for the comedy early KO, because Price had his soul taken away in the Tony T losses and no longer poses any threat at all as a result. Hughie Fury would be an interesting and compelling match up, if Hughie chose to take it that is. Given the fact he ducked Whyte earlier this year saying he was not ready, then I doubt he would be up for taking on someone as good as Parker.
Hughie would be the more deserving pick, don't have a huge problem with either one as a first defense when he wanted to have a unification fight against Wilder. Would need either a unification fight next or a top contender before he starts risking developing a Wilder reputation.
ortiz vs parker . anything else were settling. perfect timing both available. hughie and price can fight eachother how bout that . that makes sense.
Yeah, the headlines say that but when read further, the article itself doesn't validate it. Plus I read over at the scene that his options were Fury or Miller. You never know but whoever he fights I will be sure to watch because I think that he is an excellent fighter.
Theres no talks of Ortiz vs Parker but the styles and skill level of both fighters would make it a difficult one for the boxing bookies. Anyway, Miller (April), Price (May) and Fury (June) would be awesome. Ortiz in August but only if hes still undefeated.
