The water was different back then, bro.

Like, what I mean is, they were 'built different'.

The huge hardships of the 1960s would seem unbelievable to us modern weedy people, so I'm not even going to get into them. Just making a list of the hardships faced by ordinary humans back then makes me feel queasy.

    Hard times make hard men.

The fridges back then didn't even have ice water dispensers.

Well, ok some of them may have had but the water wasn't really cold.

Parker of today? I think he'd be competitive but not a dominant force by any measure.
I actually think if he grew up back then, trained and learned his craft back then, he's be a real threat to anyone out there tbh.
Like others have alluded to things we're different back then, harder. You'd see a lighter Joe who could go 15, battle hardened through a career of regular fights, which coupled with his natural gifts is a potent mix. Probably still not a dominant champ by any means, but a fighter more suited to the times, which is of course no surprise.

Can he even beat James Parker for the Parker honorary belt?

Parker couldn't even beat Whyte and he was knocked into oblivion by Joyce

Here we go again with the size queens... But How on earth did Parker not KO 12 guys with his inhuman power??? I guess those 12 were all bigger than him.

And for the record, Jameel McCline, Lance Whitaker, Nicolay Valuev, Audley Harrison, and Julius Long would also dominate that era I suppose...

I think Parker is really a fat modern cruiser. He was fat all the way back to the epic struggle with Hughie Fury.
He's not a real champion either, being inferior to Fury, AJ, Wilder, Povetkin, Joyce and probably would have been KO'd by Dubious.
So it wouldn't surprise me if he took some losses in older gens, since he isn't top of the pile in this era and it's only because of the recent vacuum that he is being highly regarded.
But the 60's is probably a step too far. He would still likely be too big for these LHW's, though maybe a few beat him on points.

Ali would be too fast, too agile, too smart,

I'd favour Liston over him too. Liston might only be 6'1" but he has the same reach as Lennox Lewis and his hands were huge, bigger than Lewis' by a significant margin, I'm sure he had the power to hurt a superheavyweight even a durable one like Parker. Also if 6'1" Chisora and give Parker a tough fight, Liston with his bigger reach and greater power could do better.
