Joshua had three fights in 2023. Which is almost unheard of in today's boxing. Especially for a top level fighter like AJ. If he plans to keep up this pace, which there's no real reason to deny, then this big money bout is NOT that terrible. Usyk and Fury will likely be tied up for two fights.

And I like Hrgovic. But his resume is WAY thin compared to AJ's, and can always fight another contender himself in the meantime. There's Bakole, Anderson, Dubios, Zhang rematch. He has fine options to look at to beef up his own resume in the interim.

I hold AJ to a higher standard than you, that's fine, I probably rate him more than you do which is understandable since I've followed his career since he was an amateur.

I'd rather him use the remainder of his prime against top HWs or atleast ranked HWs.

I'm frustrated because AJ and Hrgovic are both on the same card again, no reason why it can't be against each other.

Fair play to Parker, he's a cracking guy and seemingly willing to fight anybody.

Guys like Joseph Parker restore my faith in the sport.

It amazes me how young he is as well, potentially years ahead of him.

I hold him to a high level as well. But like I stated, he's being active. Which does allow some leeway in my opinion. And I'm of the hopes he continues this activity.

I want him to start facing ranked opponents no matter how active he is tbh.

Fair enough. I'm of the opinion he will. Whooping Wallin was a step in that direction IMO.

I thought that was a really good fight for him, and it was in the right direction, but this is a step back imo.

NGannou never should have got the fight with Fury. Fury never should have got embarrassed against NGannou the way he did.

    It's just a cluster**** imo.

But overall Saudis are doing wonders for HW boxing so I'm glad they're putting big cards on, even gladder Parker is on it, I hope he gets higher billing than Wilder.

I can't disagree with this. Ngannou is getting gifted too many big fights too fast.

Nope. Just one fight at a time. Being active and taking a fight like this is much more forgivable then it being the only fight of a year for a boxer. Or one of two per year.

I will be rooting for Zhang.

Zhang might batter Parker. But then again 75% of Zhang’s reputation is based on beating one guy: Joyce. Parker has a real chance on paper.

I reckon it will be Parker v Zhang. Plus possibly Hrgovic v another cab driver.
