If Whyte were to beat Chisora decisively, him being better than Takam might have some validity. Until then, It's complete British fanboy BS.

Yeah I'd absolutely re-evaluate if that happened, it would have to be quite decisively - though... and I'll be a little surprised if that happened, obviously.

I'd much rather see Parker fight Whyte. That would be a barnburner and a pick em.

Fair enough, I have no interest in that fight at this stage and I suspect it's only UK boxing fans who do. To me the only top 15 thing Dillian Whyte has going for himself is his chin and his talk so far.

If he beats Chisora - especially if convincingly then obviously that would make him worth talking about in the same sentence as Parker but at this stage the only time he has stepped up he looked way out of his depth. There are other fights I'd be much more interested in seeing Parker involved in.

I'm not from the UK and I'd love to see that fight. Would definitely be Parkers most dangerous opponent to date. Whyte has beaten a few of the same guys Parker has, all in better fashion.

Parker barely got passed Takam, exposed real stamina issues. Luckily there's not a lot of 12 round fighters in the heavyweight division. Even Ruiz could be competitive if he can take Parker's shot. Lack of stamina alone would keep Ruiz in the fight.

Jun Long Zhang beat Jason Gavern in a better fashion than Joshua and Wilder did. Does that mean he's better than them?

True, 100% fact. if he wants to be rated anywhere close to DW AJ level he in fact was rubbish from round 4 on against C level takam

Takam is better than anyone Wilder/Joshua fought.

Indeed. Decided to leave it there, JP is back in NZ and the fight is only a couple of weeks away. Let him just win a title belt against a top ranked opponent via a well earned victory and the haters can hate all they want, the proof is in the pudding.

Ruiz is better than Takam, Takam is being highly overrated for getting robbed by a shot Perez who was clearly still affected from putting a man in a coma, and giving Povetkin a tough fight. You'll see when he fights Duhapaus, the fight will be pretty even. Ruiz didnt look good in his fight against the Russian, but when he's at his best he's a step above Takam and Duhapaus.

Yeah I'm split, I really don't feel confident enough to call where Ruiz stands now as he hasn't faced anyone vaguely like Takam (or even Takam's best opponents) so it's a lot easier to look good against opposition who won't push you around like that, in Takam Parker has fought someone at least at a level that can show his weaknesses and that was the first time he's lost any rounds. Ruiz has already lost rounds, despite not yet actually stepping up into the outer circle of prospects - let alone a top 20.

Despite that those may not have been his best, he's CLEARLY coming to win, and he can clearly fight. As per this thread, Takam is not Parker's best day either and he's still clearly getting better. It's a very exciting match up.

I am a kiwi but Takam is O for Overrated

Honestly I think the soccer hooligan would beat up Takam, especially the Takam that fought Joe and appeared to have a 50p gas tank, unless there was something in the air that night?

Joe and Takam were gassed as hell after 5 uneventful rounds.

I'd give Whyte a real shot at beating Takam and let's be honest Joe didn't out class Takam it was a 116-112 or 115-113 type fight.

Ruiz is too fat and useless Joe should light him up easily.
