Ruiz is utter ****... He went life and death with a shot to **** Liakhovich and Hamer looked like he had the beating of him before pulling one of infamous quit jobs. Was never impressed with Ruiz, Takam is definitely better... I would be far less surprised if Duhaupas gave Takam a good fight or even pulled an upset and won than Ruiz giving Parker a good fight. We'll see though.

His hand was broken against Liakovich. Ruiz isn't utter ****, he has way better hand speed and combinations than Takam. Ruiz is far more gifted than Takam, Takam is a rugged veteran but that's all he is. He gets criminally overrated, who has he beat? A depressed Perez? Not that Ruiz has beat anyone great, but people go way overboard over Parker's win over Takam who he went life and death with.

Duhaupas winning isnt really an upset to me, it's a 50/50 fight, they're both around teh same level.

So what about Parker's most recent fight against Dimitrenko - Dimitrenko's last loss was against Kubrat Pulev and in the 11th round the cards were similar to Parker's win over Takam before Pulev managed the KO.... Dimitrenko is arguably equal to or better than the best on Ruiz' CV and Parker walked through him like he was fired at Joe out of a bubble machine.

Should have been able to handle that version of White Wolf easier hand issue or not... I had it a Draw. IB had Ruiz nicking it by a round. Ruiz is a morbidly obese SMW-LHW.. CW at best. No real power. He has fast hands and decent combinations... But not much else outside of that. He did cut a ton of weight for this fight though... Not a good sign. Shedding that much fat in a short period of time isn't healthy. Couldn't very well impact his performance. Not that it would matter in the context of this fight though.

Im telling you, Ruiz/Parker will be FOTY. Ruiz had enough power to make Tor the ***** too scared to get out if his corner. He looked **** against Liakovich, he had a broken hand, and probably was not motivated, this is for a world title, we will see the best of Andy.

If Parker beats Ruiz in an impressive fashion I will give him way more credit than his win over the overrated Takam. I will stop calling him a hypejob. And no beating Ruiz like he beat Takam is not impressive.

Hope so! Wouldn't mind being wrong here... The HW division needs a good fight to end the year.

Yes ain't that the truth,I'm a big AJ fights and have seen every one since he turned pro and for the most part I thought they'd done a great job bringing him on but the thing is now though he has a very prestigious belt and yet he's never gone ten to twelve rounds with anyone.

What a very honest assessment from Parker but I completely agree how he'll of learned so much more than AJ ever has in going twelve rounds with a very accomplished, respected and difficult of opponents in Takam, sure he may not of felt like he did all that well against him but he got the win and moved on.
Parkers a good example of a boxer who will face anyone at any time or at least he comes across that way, needs to fight in UK or US to make a name though.

I think Takam is decent if not a world beater, regardless I will take him over Ruiz.

Povetkin is another highly overrated fighter on this forum, getting a gift decision against Huck is terrible, not only is he old but he's too small as well

If he actually fought Wilder he would get wrecked

I don't see how going 1-1-1 against Povetkin, Perez and Thompson can make anyone a top 10 fighter and especially the only win was against Thompson!!!!

Yes I completely agree,I had Wilder to beat Povetkin first time round,Povetkin can box but his power would look like anything against a super heavyweight in Wilder.

If you are trying to say Povetkin would get beaten by Wilder like Wlad did to him....you are basing your assumptions that Wilder is as skilled in the footwork dept as Wlad.

That very assumption destroys your argument. The first slippery opponent Wilder faced was The Pin and he looked absolutely unco against him. Yeah Yeah I know the result but Povetkin is levels above Spilzka.

Povetkin is straight up and down orthodox and Szpilka is an awkward south paw.

Wilder wouldn't hug Povetkin to death he would simply be too quick and too long and he will drill him with the 1-2 until he can't take no more

This, Povetkin and Szpilka fight nothing alike. Styles make fights.
