Tbh, I couldnt watch the fight. But I expect parker's plan to be by default winning on points, not, by any means, to win by KO. It's been 3 years since the last time parker KO'd anyone. Honestly, I dont know wtf is this thread about.
Parker whilst not fan friendly in the past was a great mover and mobile. This transition to Kronk style may not suit him. He’s best attribute was his mobility. This wasn’t George Foreman versus Axel Schulz. Surely Joe (former world champ) should be able to chase after a Brit level cruiserweight
Parker will always be a former world champion. He brought big nights to NZ. However it’s sad as he never hit his potential. He regressed under Kevin Barry in their last few fights together. Probably after the Whyte fight. His style now is just unrecognisable. Kronk style and plodding forward. The way that he linked up with Fury and is only chasing money fights like the Whyte rematch so that something has been amiss for quite some time. He’s still young for a heavyweight. I’m just curious as to WTF happened to him
I don;t think it so much that the forum has gone into a frenzy, merely that they finally realized he was the real deal, that @Serge and I have been proclaiming him to be for the last half decade. Decoding The Mystical Bewildering Confounding Deceptively Brilliant Juggernaut Paradox.
No he should fight the new kids on the block. Massey seems alright but hes ranked below the cruiserweights i mentioned.
If we had a penny or a cent for everytime they tried to lock us up in an insane asylum for the crime of simply speaking god's truth and inevitably being proven right we would feature on the Forbes List.
The 3 amigos Whyte, Parker and Chisora are on never ending cycle of rematches and given oppurtunities because of friends, fake rivalries, british stronghold in heavyweight scene. Okay they have produced some wars and great entertainment, but where does it end. I genuinely believe the up and comers destroy these 3 now.
Terrible fight.... Until Parker out of the blue lands an uppercut that sends Whyte through the ropes and down for the count.
Regarding Joyce, he's got the third best recent win at HW, after Usyk and Fury. That's gonna get you a little hype.
