Yeah, I mean, imagine a fighter being dropped twice, blood pouring out of his ear, hadn't won a round after 6, two 10-8 rounds in those 6 rounds also. Said fighter looks exhausted, hasn't put a dent in his opponent, his opponent looks rather fresh and is still throwing very powerful shots.. again that said fighter is pinned in the corner with a 6 foot 9 man starting to tee off on him. What an act of "treachery" it was to throw the towel in, save him from being knocked out or seriously hurt.
Good move to leave Barry but no idea what people see in Ben Davidson as a trainer. Hes only been good for being a Fury cheerleader and TF himself dropped him, so did BJS. But maybe im missing something cos I believe he has Josh Taylor & now Parker so not a bad group of fighters atall
But the argument is two-fold in the sense that Fury could have done that without Davison and he could have been a lot better under someone else.
It is a particularly strange statement your boy made there since it is generally understood that, the way things are lining up, Parker will probably fight the winner of Usyk-Joyce for the WBO title.
Yeah I mean that he's never gonna fulfill his potential. He's not willing to come out of his comfort zone and do what it takes to reach the next level, which is okay since he's a family man and that is more important to him.
