Hoping this fight with Joyce still goes ahead. Otherwise relocating stateside to fight Ruiz, Wilder, Ortiz etc would be good for the 30yr old.

Sounds like he's serious about pursuing big fights. Good for him. Parker vs Wilder would be very interesting.

Still a good fight for Parker, clear decisive stoppage win will boost his profile in the US.

Looks like his team are gonna target the US fighters and not commit to a promoter. Fair enough too I feel as there isn't much more he can do sticking with Matchroom as he's said no to Hrgovic, Usyk is tied up as are Whyte and AJ.

Well, you can only fight the unranked Derek Chisora so many times.

I think a fight with Chisora (and a guaranteed win) comes every time a heavyweight signs with Matchroom.

But not much else after that.

Haymon wouldn't allow Wilder to fight someone as Good as Parker, he knows he loses that fight. Unless Haymon is willing to cash in on Wilder now but I see him milking Wilder fighting a couple of low level guys before Haymon cashes in and puts Wilder a lamb to the slaughter against Sanchez, Parker or Ruiz.

The more intriguing and closer fights would would be Sanchez or Ruiz vs Parker.

Parker can still turn out to be a major force in the division. I think it's fair to say his development stagnated and regressed around 2017, but he's looking better since he changed trainer. He needs a big fight or two in 2022 to show where he is at.

I reckon Parker loses to Joshua, Fury, Wilder, Usyk, Joyce but probably beats everyone else.

Considering most of those will probably retire soon there's no reason to think he won't be world champion again one day. Nice guy too so would be nice to see.

I thought Wilder was washed up after the second Fury fight, but seeing him floor Fury with one right hand tells me he's still got enough to chin somebody on any given night. I don't like that fight for Parker for that very reason.

It will boost Wilder's confidence if Parker and Wilder fights. I'm sure Wilder will KO Parker with his powerful right, because Parker is so slow and predictable. And he looked even more slow with his chunky look in his last match.

I think Wilder is probably damaged goods now. Sure, he did well in the 4th round against Fury in the last fight. But then after that he took a prolonged and brutal beating. He's always dangerous but he must be damaged goods now, at 36 years of age too, he can't have much left surely. It's easy for me to say that though, it's not be taking the risk of fighting him.

Wilder was never anywhere the level he was hyped to be in the first place hence his poor resume and history of ducking top fighters.

But would you agree that he is now likely to be diminished from what he was?

Yes chances are at his age and after two straight KO loses he's overall quality (even how little that may be) and it could have diminished his punch resistance.

Wilder was just an Ajagba and Zhang typen like fighter that got a title shot off beaten low level journeyman and beaten a very poor quality champion to then defend against poverty poor opposition and was protected against fighting the best in the divison.
