Joseph Parker probably beats both Joshua and Wilder

I have to agree he's gotten too big. If you watch his earlier fights he was a little more fluid and faster in the ring. They need to clearly make some changes in regards to his training, he doesn't need to be any bigger or stronger, flexibility, agility and speed is where he can make the biggest improvements in regards to physicality.

AJ has been down against Wlad, Whyte (in the amateurs when he'd only had a couple of fights ), hurt badly by Whyte in the pros and knocked bandy legged and stopped by Nistor in the amateurs too. Knocked out by David Price in sparring. He's also allegedly been dropped in sparring by Dubois (Dubois confirmed he did indeed drop him) and Lawrence Okolie (Okolie claims he did drop him but that AJ also dropped him).

Donkeypotamus was dropped and stopped by Romanov in the amateurs. Dropped heavily and hurt badly by Sconiers in the pros. Wobbled and hurt by Molina. Dropped a couple of times by Wlad in sparring. Dropped by Dusty Nichols albeit more of a balance issue. That said, had Nichols been in shape he would've won via KO.

Whereas as far as I'm aware Parker has never been dropped am or pro. I think Marcelo Nascimento appeared to hurt him a little at one point during their fight IIRC. He sparred Wlad too and there are no rumours or footage of him getting dropped by him like AJ and Donkeypotamus were. Parker looks the solid chinned type to me with that big ol' Samoan head and thick-set body of his.

I knew he would, and I've long said people will view Joshua or any popular British fighters as suddenly having a bad day or regressing if they fight Parker because a lot of people don't seem to accept that Parker (and other unpopular) fighters are as good as they actually are. Joshua will again likely look "not as devastating" if/when he fights Parker but it won't be because he isn't as good as his earlier days of blowing out tincans - it's because he is against someone who can take his shots, and moves at least as fast as well as having punches which can find and hurt him which means he has to be a bit more careful.

I pick Joshua as the favourite in this fight, but I think the fight is likely to leave a bunch of people confused as to why Parker looks involved in it when they truly believe it would be an easy night out for AJ.

Parker is shockingly underrated around here. Being a fan of his reminds me of the pre-Wlad Tyson Fury days.

I agree with everyone in this thread who is saying parker most likely has solid whiskers witch I have posted in another thread, also worryingly for aj Parker’s camp is talking about him getting into the high 230’s range again witch I think is Parker’s ideal weight, he’s looked to heavy in his last few fights, were as aj has shown no interest in coming in any leighter even though everyone and there Dog can see he’s to heavy now, i was shocked to see him come in at a career high for takam same as I was shocked that he came in so heavy for wlad fight there was a reason wlad came in the lightest he had been for a long long time because he saw he could take advantage of aj’s flat and heavy feet.

You talking about the same Parker that needs those bogus hometown decisions to beat fringe contenders?

You mean the same Parker who beat an undefeated Hughie Fury in his home town - the same Fury that before the fight many many UK fans would deal to Parker easy and at some points have said that when his health was in check (which it was when Parker outboxed him) may prove better than Tyson?

The saltiness is solid and unfounded.

No salt here, I just don't think much of Parker. I don't even know who Hughie Fury is.

Wilder's power sets him apart from both Joshua and Parker. Joshua is the better boxer of all three and Parker falls in the middle. Wilder is the worst threat to both Parker and AJ early. AJ has the better shot against Wilder and could most likely knock him out late. I think that Wilder could survive Parker and win a decision if he doesn't knock Parker out.

EXACTLY. People don't understand those Polynesian genetics. I keep hearing how Parker isn't a true "superheavyweight" because he's 2-3 inches shorter than Joshua/Wilder.

FFS Wilder is a damn cruiserweight, he's fighting at 220lbs. Joshua was 230lb in great shape at age 23 and has very obviously piled on huge stacks of muscle.

I actually agree Parker is too heavy at 249lb but he's always gonna be 230+ even without muscles. He's naturally the heaviest guy out of the 3 and indications are dat thiccness translates to chin.

Parker has a chin like Tua, so Wilder would get his arse handed to him! Parker has a great chance to beat Joshua.....................now that I have thought about it, I think he would............
