Joseph Dennis Parker is a 6'4 23 year old Heavyweight with a 17-0 15 KO's record. He was born, raised and fighting out of South Auckland, New Zealand and traces his heritage back to the village of Faleula Village on the island of Upolo in Samoa, he has boxing in his blood his older brother is a boxer and his father is named Dempsey Parker after Jack Dempsey. He's an all action tough Heavyweight who comes after his opponents like a machine gun and when he has them hurt he's a great finisher. Thus far he's been good enough to be on a NBCSN undercard. Will he become a big star in the states or remain a regional star much like his fellow countrymen. He's fairly entertaining to watch and if you need a gauge for his power he took out Costa Jr. quicker than David Price. So far I'm pretty impressed so Check Out The Baby Joseph. Tua fanboys really **** me off.... Anyways, Parker has much better physical attributes than Tua, and looks pretty good for his age. I think he'll pick up a strap or two.

:yep Me too, then again most fanatics **** me off.
This kid if he has anywhere near Tua's chin, he'll probably surpass him, physically he's very impressive, something you don't see too often from that part of the world.

I really like this kid. He was got ring general ship and a lot of charisma.
My only doubt is his defence. But he takes good steps in his early career, he's facing Sherman 'Tank' Williams in 2 weeks. Williams brought Helenius & Washington to the distance. I wonder if Parker can knock him out.

    Gee, he has quick hands.
I'd like to see him use more angles and target the body more.
I thought he could've went to Botha's body after he first stunned him.
He still got the KO, but he won't be let off against better fighters like that.
No doubt he is a talent, probably my pick of the heavies to make a mark in the next decade.

Dont know if he'll ever be a Tua.

Prime Tua had the sort of power that was just scary.

Parker seems a good athlete and is young. A nice addition to the ranks

He's definitely one to watch, speed, power and general athleticism is impressive though he's clearly a little rough around the edges.

He's better than Leapai and Lucas Browne and has more natural ability than Tua but we still don't know what his stamina and durability is like at the top level, but definitely one to keep an eye on.

Parker, Joshua, and Usyk. They're head and shoulders above the rest of the prospects.
