Good fight. McKean on points. Parker is done in my eyes.

Good fight for him at this point.

It is apparent that the guy has a ceiling, but I think he needs to decide whether he even wants to do this anymore. Losing to Joyce is no shame, but anyone who is honest will admit that he cleanly lost to Chisora the first time, and that is a problem.

Come back focused, beat a bum with a zero on his name, and then think it over.

Parker by points. Disappointing though I'd have rather seen Parker v Whyte 2 or Hunter

Yeah, I also think Parker will win but the match is ridiculous. Is Parker a contender or not?

Parker probably doesn't have another profession thus he will continue fighting for small amounts like $50K.

Well, actually it's not a small amount for 90% of the world population, so I don't think he will retire.

Parker by points. McKean is an even worse version of Otto Wallin, who isn't the greatest himself.

Would prefer to have seen both of these guys fed to Justis Huni in consecutive fights in Australia. Those fights would have had much more appeal to boxing fans in this country b/c they would have led to something more significant. I guess Fast Eddie wants to do things his own way. Please don't pretend though that this fight features the best Heavyweight from Australia versus the best Heavyweight from New Zealand b/c it doesn't. Hey Fast Eddie - why not give us the best versus the best? If you're going to promote in Australia, understand the Australian audience.

I think Parker will get paid a lot more the 50k for a fight against Dempsey in Australia.

Well, if that's the case it explains why he's not retiring.

Think people are a bit harsh on Parker considering who he lost two. On another night he'd have KO'd whyte after an unfortunate headbutt knockdown.

He got KO'd by joyce in a good fight. He could still play his part in some good fights.

People wonder why fighters cherrypick and avoid tough fights, then proceed to **** on those that take on challenges. Such is the state of modern day boxing.

He's contender-level, but he isn't a serious contender anymore, i.e. he can't beat the best and he knows it. He can still be in good fights though.

By any measure his fight against Joyce was a good and entertaining fight. He tried hard and fell short, but at least he tried his best and left it out there in the ring.

Honestly, McKean is not a bad comeback fight after the punishment he took against Joyce.
