Considering Usyk is the 'next biggest thing' and will step up to heavyweight and take over, surely Briedis would beat Parker comfortably then?

Breidis would school Parker worse than Takam or Andy Ruiz Jr did.

Depends what condition Parker showed up in. Back to 250 days and he's having trouble, 220/235 and he can beat anyone not named AJ,dw or whyte

I mean, that's certainly not how boxing works but OK.

    Why not?

We're told Usyk is going to takeover the heavyweight scene, which means he must be at least 1, if not more, level above Parker.

Usyk/Briedis were very evenly matched, therefore Briedis too is likely to beat Parker.

DW and Whyte are winnable fights. Wilders not as physically strong as Joshua and Whyte imo wouldn't be cute enough for Parker. Parker ud's them both, neither are good enough to outbox Parker. Whyte is the harder fight for Parker too

Styles, my dude. Styles. Usyk showed he can hang with the big boys in his AM career. Granted, pro is very different but him having a close fight with probably the number 2 in the division shouldn't be the defining criticism that it's being used as.

And all the while, Briedis could KO Parker in 1 round or the other way round - neither situation offers more than suggestion or conjecture as to how Usyk would do at HW.

N.B - I think he does a fair job at HW but size matters in the end.

So why not be a heavyweight?

He could've fought Joshua and earnt more than his whole career.

Briedis would not only beat Parker but school him with ease.
