I've often rambled about how much disdain I have for this obsession for "the 0 in the L column" that has developed with boxers lately, and in Joe's case I think it may turn out to be a good thing. I think he got through that fight with his dignity ultimately intact and his stock slightly up, and it's been a reality check that what he has been doing isn't enough to beat the best of the best and he sounds even more motivated than he was when he signed up to fight AJ.

There are different ways different fights deal with a loss, but JP wants to immediately get into training to improve where things went wrong previously.

26 years old and experience in a competitive unification fight is a pretty good place to be for a hungry fighter, I look forward to seeing what comes next.

Personally I think he's spent the last two years perfecting that dull backfoot style on opponents who he deemed less dangerous, knowing full well he would eventually have to share the ring with AJ and Wilder, and that his all action kill or be killed style that he employed against guys like Meehan, Haumono, Botha and Dimitrenko, wouldn't be the most intelligent way to go about fighting AJ or Wilder, its a surefire ticket to getting KTFO, although there's always the possibility that he may end up knocking them the **** out first. Think about it, he abandoned it for the Hughie fight, because he knew he couldn't get a decision in the UK that way, and that Fury would be retreating from the opening bell. Joe's versatile like that, so I don't think he's going to change much to be honest, I think he'll fight lighter hitting guys like he fought Fury, and against the big hitters, more elusive hyper defensive backfoot counter punching from him.

Losing your '0' can be better for your bank balance because it means taking higher risk fights will nothing to lose.

You lose once you lose 10 time it doesn't make any difference.

In regards to Parker it's his physical attributes which is his main problem ie not being big enough.
