That's for sure. I'm very excited about this one, hopefully not a step too far too soon. If he wins it'll certainly be turning him into one of the very serious title contenders - we'll actually know more about what he is capable of than Martin or Joshua given they will be each others bigger test, and neither are as proven as Takam. Very exciting times! And in other news, the banter begins: http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/other-...-real-man-in-their-ibf-heavyweight-elimiantor
Heavyweight boxing has really got so much more interesting. Loving it! I am really kinda hoping Joshua and Parker both win, the head on collision a few of us have been predicting for what is now years really looks to be building momentum
Not sure either of these two fighters could go the distance with prime Frans Botha to be honest. Parker gets knocked out before Takam though against Frans.
Prime Botha is a nightmare for most heavyweights. Did you see the earmuffs he put on ATG Mike Tyson!? Legendary stuff
You have got to be kidding. Is this the forum poster known as 'South African Man', world famous for trolling this "Prime Frans Botha" rubbish all over every Parker article in New Zealand ?? ? ?? ? atsch
I think Parker by knockout!!! He is supposed to get a fight with Joshua if he wins.....................Martin is a sick joke, can't fight at all.................
Ban bet that Parker beats Martin if the fight eventuates in the future? I get sick of seeing your racist, agenda driven posts on this site.
South Africa Man1 day ago Ya I could see Takam knocking Parker out here he is certainly an accomplished and experienced fighter. Takam has closely followed Frans Botha career and watched the videos from Frans prime and you can see the development in his boxing. Prime Frans Botha was a force and Takam has looked to take parts of Frans boxing repertoire and add to his own which will have him in good shape to take on Parker and he can primarily thank prime Frans Botha for that. South Africa Man2 days ago One can only wonder how much the fight would be worth if they were bringing in prime Frans Botha. Although that would be silly on Ducos behalf because it would be all one way traffic in prime Frans favour and Parker would lose his ranking. South Africa Man2 days ago I can only shudder when I think what prime Frans Botha would do to either of these fighters. Early round KO win for prime Frans. Pom in Britain2 days ago <---Logged in with wrong alt name I have to say that I favour Parker here over Takam. But if we rewind the clock back to prime Frans Botha then you have a fighter Parker couldn't compete with. At his peak, Botha was a force of nature and Parker would have been found wanting against a superior specimen. Prime Botha would have Parker out of there within 5. Just a hunch you are one in the same, that's all. :smoke
