1. That was 4 years ago and the guy has done ****ing NOTHING since, facing some of the most abysmal competition you can likely ever find. 2. I can't put too much stock in "WELL HE BEAT THAT GUY EVEN HARDER" when the guy is garbage. Who knows what was happening. Do you think Pulev was really going all out on a guy like this? I don't. Dimitrenko is garbage and regularly faces guys like "Ivica Perkovic," "Milos Dovedan," and "Patryk Kowoll." Go look up their records for a laugh, or Hell, maybe a cry.
Parker sure made Dimitrenko look very ordinary. But as I said earlier: The more clearly you beat an opponent the less credit you get from some people.
Not sure if you are agreeing or correcting me but that is exactly the point I'm making. Pulev wouldn't have been letting Dimitrenko win rounds, and Parker just destroyed him.
Parker needed to fight a tall fighter. Dimitrenko had a lot of experience, but he was never a great fighter....................so far Joshua has never fought anyone who can fight back..................
Parkers best fight that he took away from in terms of progression in his boxing, was the Takam fight. Since then Haumono and Dimintrenko have turned out to be "keepin busy" fights which is great for us Parker fans in that, regardless of how they dress up Haumono and Dimintrenko, bottom line, we watch for what type of knockout Parker will put together. Last two fights havent been that spectacular because they've been marred by reffs actions. There was controversy around the Haumono fu$ked up count and now this. Just like the old days of Saturday night at the colloseum, the crowd want blood - what Im saying is get some reffs that strongly consider the fighter carries on instead of having Haumono and Dimintrenko protesting with the reff for calling it off, that way the naysayers cant say sh1t and it will give Parker the glory he deserves for being the better boxer (for me: I WANT to see that devastating knockout that the reffs cockblock). Parker did look stupid when he hit Dimintrenko. Instead of realising Dimintrenkos clinching tactic and how to get around that, he got frusterated and pulled out a punch that hes probably never done in his life! Challenges are ahead for Parker, ones that involve outsmarting, not Mike Tyson like frusteration that almost cost him. All and all, as a Parker fan, it was a stink fight for reasons Ive explained.
Fast feet and hands for a heavyweight. Short reach tho! but looks like if he just has tighten up his defense he will be a champion.
Dimitrenko fought this guy 3 fights ago http://boxrec.com/boxer/674376 His comp was bottom of the barrel . He pulled out vs Briggs ffs. Briggs would done the same job on him . Maybe even got it done sooner.
Parker sure has plenty going for him. Hopefully he gets the gig against Joshua on November 26th. Though Hearn seems to think it is 60% likely Joshua will instead fight Klitschko.
Word. Our brand of painful comedy can't write itself. Mainly because it'd starve to death from the meager earnings.
No Dimitrenko is just garbage and would lose to Parker no matter what version showed up. You really are one of the most nationalistic trolls on this forum, but you slide under the radar because you're not a blatant bigot, have you ever said anything negative about a German fighter?
Can't excuse this pitiful performance. It happens in boxing though and I don't think it helped Parker at all.
