Hes had fights but not the proper step ups hes needed. Theres a massive gap between Parker and his last two fights.

But he's operated at the elite level before it's not like this is his first run at a title shot he isn't some young prospect he's a seasoned veteran now and while there is a gulf in ability between who he has been facing and Parker it's not like he is facing Joshua, this is a winnable fight, a risky one, but still winnable.

One has to give credit to Parker if he takes this fight, Jennings is a real threat and this must be one of the best comeback fights after a first loss by a young fighter in recent times.

However, as a Parker fan, I'd rather he eased back into contention by crushing a weaker opponent first.

Is Jennings Top Rank? I wonder what Arum is thinking here. Doesnt Duco and TR have a deal in place for U.S fights? Maybe Arum wants to introduce Parker to U.S to a larger audience on the back of his Joshua fight. He wins well and he might be marketable. He loses and Duco still can earn a living back in NZ while Jennings would definitely be back in the mix. Hard one to pick especially if the best Jennings shows up and an uninspired Parker does. Swap that around though and we will robably have a Parker ko on our hands

I concur, but I don't think the fight will happen next for Parker.

Get him back on the horse & winning fights.

Jennings is the type of opponent you face to secure a title shot.

The other fight they had lined up for him in NZ is the way to go.

Not bad... not bad... It would be a nicer fight if Jennings had more momentum though. Im hoping Jennings isnt on his way to becoming this eras Guinn and go on to lose lackluster fights from here on out, living off of the brief hype he had pre Ortiz.

Heres to hoping he shows up ready for battle against Parker... if he does I think they give us a good fight and its even a winnable one for Jennings. If he doesnt, Parker should win a comfortable UD.

It's a solid fight for Parker after losing to Joshua. I do not think Jennings is a real threat due to lack of power so Parker should win a comfortable decision here.

Hughie Fury, Anthony Joshua, Bryant Jennings...back to back, that looks good on the record. Obviously he needs to beat Jennings but it would make him more reputable in someone who always wants to test himself against the best and I'd imagine he'd gain more respect with that.

I think that might be Alexander Ustinov. 41-year-old with a 34-2 record and a No 10 ranking with the WBA.

I think Parker needs to start making heads hit the canvas again before stepping back up.

    So that bloke sounds fine.

Beating Jennings won't actually open any doors for Parker at the moment. It won't lead to anything concrete.

Beating Parker will open doors for Jennings. American tv needs as many viable American opponents for Joshua as they can find.

Good fight, by no means an obvious outcome for Parker

Good competitive fight that Parker should win. This Jennings is a lot better than the inexperienced novice that Klitschko fought. That Jennings had only about 30 fights , both Amateur and pro combined.

Good fight for sure. Parker is an elite HW. Jennings is a respectable scalp and worthy of any HW to face, for sure.
