There's absolutely no way Price goes the distance. Parker will shoot him down before the 5th round finishes. If not, he will gass out again. Either way - Price going the distance is not an option. Of course he has a punchers chance of getting the KO, but I highly doubt that as well.

That said - it would be still highly entertaining fight while it lasts :bbb I like the way they build Parker's career brick by brick, you really can't be disappointed in that. Takam was his toughest opponent, but after that the bar slowly goes higher in terms of making him ready for the AJ showdown. That's how it should be done.

    Something fishy about this fight.
Hearn would love to see Parker out of the way, and an excuse for AJ v Price.
Dunno how they are gonna do it though.

This is a poor move by Prices team. He really should be facing the likes of Charr, Hammer while making his case for a Joshua showdown. Those are winnable fights that will get him ranked higher and help maintain his standing. His career is already on life support at the moment, a KO loss here kills any chance of a big cashout fight with Joshua.

Parker is nothing special and very easy to hit, wouldn't be surprised if Price knocks him out.

On the other hand - losing to Charr, Hammer or Wach damages him permanently and removes him from contention. With Parker it's all or nothing - either he knockes Parker out by which he takes his mandatory challenger status or he loses again. That's bad, but hey, he will probably say that this is his first REAL loss and something like that :patsch In case of losing he can bounce back fighting some domestic level fighter like Whyte or Hughie. In any case - I undestand why fighting young, still somewhat unproven Parker might be tempting for Price.

    Interesting fight.

Parker has a good chin and doesn't punch hard.

Price has the worst chin in HW history but punches harder than nearly anyone.

Parker isn't the hardest puncher but he certainly punches hard. Probably harder than anyone Price has had a pro fight with

What privilege? This is a very risky fight with little reward for Price. He's basically being used as a stepping stone.

I would steer Price away from Wach obviously, but Charr and Hammer are VERY winnable fights. Especially Charr who looked awful in his 1st fight back after being shot. I don't agree with your logic, because the chances of him KO'ing Parker are slim to none. Where as I would make a him a big favorite over Charr, and a significant one over Hammer. He would gain back some credibility with those wins, increase his rating and secure one final payday while earning some decent purses in the process.

Hughie Fury would be a good fight for Price as he'd be fighting one of the few heavyweights out there who shouldn't be able to easily KO him.
