Are you talking about Joe Frazier or Joe Parker?

I have Deontay winning it. He could box at range like he did with Stiverne quite easily against Parker IMO.

If he fights like he did against Stiverne then he could beat Parker, I won't deny that. But his last few performances have been atrocious. Washington was easily outboxing him with little more than a rudimentary jab and some lateral movement, Szpilka was causing him all sorts of problems, even Duhaupas was giving him what for at times in their fight. Was the Stiverne performance Wilder rising to the occasion or just a one off, since he's clearly not looked the same since.

Also factor in that Parker's a lot less flat footed than Stiverne, and a ton more explosive. Much better head movement too. Could Wilder keep him off him like he did Stiverne? That's a much stiffer task IMO.

Agree he hasn't looked good at all in recent times. I just don't see Parker taking risks trying to walk through Deontay's jab. He hasn't really been able to impose himself on any of his top flight opponents thus far - and Deontay has a lot more power than any of them have had.

Parker's last two opponents have not given him the best opportunity to shine, but they were also fairly one sided performances (I don't buy that Hughie got jobbed, he really didn't). Wilder won't be fighting off the back foot, at least not for the whole fight. At some stage he will attempt to come forward and that'll give Parker opportunities to brawl with him. He's not disciplined enough to mimic a Wlad Klit safety first gameplan, and doesn't have the timing or the ring command to do so anyway.

It's true that Wilder has more power than anyone Parker's been in with, but Parker's got a solid jaw, which will mean he could afford to take risks to get to his man. He's also not especially vulnerable to the types of shots Wilder throws so Wilder will have to hide his punches well to catch Joe out.

Parker is a one dimensional bread and butter type of fighter not quick or hard to hit not a massive puncher .unless he lands a lucky shot I see him being KOED in brutal fashion by wilder after doing ok for a few rnds. This fight will make wilder look devastating .easy work for wilder.

People talk about Parker's flaws as if Wilder has the brains or the talent to exploit them. If he did he wouldn't be getting outboxed by the likes of Gerald Washington or Artur Szpilka or getting his eye busted up by Johann Duhaupas. Fact is, whatever Parker's flaws (and he has many, I don't deny that) they're a drop in the ocean compared to the absolute mess that is Deontay Wilder, and unlike Wilder Parker's been through tough learning fights that have tested his mettle and forced him to improve and utilise those skills he does have. Wilder or his handlers are so scared of him losing that they've only put him in with men two or more levels below him, and it's caused him to regress.

The Wilder who beat Stiverne had a great chance to outbox, maybe even KO Parker, but since then he's lost his skills, fallen in love with his power, and become increasingly deranged as to his true quality as a fighter, while Parker has been mercilessly criticised yet still trucks on taking dangerous fight after dangerous fight. That's the clear gulf in quality between the two fighters and the reason why Parker would absolutely do a number on Wilder if they ever got in the ring together (they won't).

If bums like Nichols and Sconiers could crack this fragile mandible, a top level guy like Parker will obliterate me.
