You genuinely couldn't pay me to watch this rubbish

Blatant cash grab by a couple of washed up 'contenders' will be nothing more than a glorified sparring session and if this is Eddie's idea of how to make DAZN a success and how to attract subscribers in large numbers he's deluded

You're not on Sky Sports anymore Eddie !!

The fight makes sense considering what stage each boxer is in their career.

Keep busy fight for Parker. Keeps him in and around the rankings.

    Pays well for Chisora.

It's already been said but it's the best payday for both and a very winnable fight with a well-known opponent for both. Chisora will be virtually 38 by the time the rematch comes around and his stamina and punch resistance have clearly deteriorated, I expect them to be even worse next time. Usyk hurt Chisora twice in the mid rounds and Parker hurt him in the 11th and 12th, in the Usyk fight Chisora was gassing in the 3rd and he was gassing in the mid rounds against Parker. However, Parker seems to have lost his motivation so Chisora could outwork him again. But I would not be surprised if Parker gets another gift decision on the grounds that he's much younger and less worn, is an ex world champion, doesn't have 11 official losses, is less hassle for the boxing industry and is a former AJ opponent rather than one of Fury's.

A good stay-busy fight for Parker.

He is in line for a title shot if he keeps his current high rankings and stays busy

Not sure what else either can do next that's any better. People always act like everyone can fight each other at any moment.

I think that is a great point, Nonito

I know that Parker's new trainer Andy Lee says Parker should have taken Chisora OUT in the last 2 rounds.

They will be working on that mentality....

Good to see you are still a believer
But sadly i can't see why

Parker has not put one, not one good display in since beating Ruiz

Had plenty of time and he hasn't improved at all

In fact the guy has actually regressed

Actually - I tend to agree with you, Wizbit

Unless Parker shows a big return to form in the next couple of years, he will likely retire as a disappointing under-achiever

Given his skills and his potential

We're not going to be subjected to them having breakfast together while everyone surrounds them with their phones on video again are we?
    That was painful.

I think his defensive head movement is a bit better since the Ruiz Jr fight but you don't win fights just on defence. His problem is being able to mount an offence without taking counters coming in which is why he has to be so selective with his out put.

He may have regressed or it maybe that opponents have now all figured him out. They know he rarely counters, they know a jab precedes almost every attack, they no he isn't really willing to trade so as long as your throwing your safe.

I don't see that happening as long as he's getting 6-7 figure paydays. But at some point soon he does need to walk away, as he's had a lot of tough fights.
