I think Parker grinds him down and stops him late.

Stylistically this is a good fight for Parker. Whyte doesn't move well, doesn't move his head either so he'll have a stationary target he can look good against. Whyte won't run like Hughie and he won't push him back like Takam or Ruiz, he'll stand at mid range and allow Parker to unload with eye catching combinations.

Business wise it makes sense too. Wilder was offered 4 mill, I assume Parker could get something similar. World title fight in UK, with Hearn promoting it, perhaps on the undercard of a Joshua fight. Will give us a comparison between Joshua and Parker against a common opponent and increase Parker's profile in the UK far more than beating Hughie.

How about Parker vs Lucas Browne in NZ as a Wilder-esqe defence?
Duco Events could promote the fight as New Zealand vs Australia. could sell well and Parker could beat Browne.

this fight would need to be VADA tested as Browne loves the muscle juice.

Yep, I would take Parker by decision for pretty much the same reasons as against Whyte.

I'd really like to see Dillon getting starched again. Not sure if Parker can do that though.

Perfect fight for all concerned. Very winnable for Parker.

Ditto Browne. Those are the two fights I'd go after if I was Parker's management. That probably means they're not going to happen, lol.

both fights would be good for Parker
both are beatable. Both decent paydays if held in respective countries. Both opponents would raise his profile, one in the UK and one in NZ.

if I was Parker's management, that's what I would do.

I think Whyte is the type of guy to make Parker look like a real killer. He'll engage with him and bring out the dog in Joe, which is a lot bigger and more vicious that Whyte's. Whyte has the tools to make things difficult for Parker but he'll abandon them in favour of a tear up and sustain a fearsome career-ending beating in the process. Parker will strafe him to body and head with vicious ripping combos and have him lunging at air with his weird little left hook. On the outside Joe catches his jabs and lands his own, using his footwork to run rings around Whyte and avoid his amateurish lunges. Whyte's toughness keeps him in the contest, and his uppercut catches Joe now and again, as do a few stray counter shots and shots in exchanges, but Parker pulls away down the stretch and takes a unanimous decision in a fight that takes years off Dillian's life. Might even force a corner stoppage.

Actually the more I think about this fight the more I wish it happens. It's the type of fight to restore everyone's faith in Joe again, and have them talking about him. Great setup for a Joshua showdown as well, though I wouldn't want to see that happen right away.

To be honest I think the Browne fight would be a blowout. I don't think Browne has the resilience or physical capabilities to hang with Parker for more than a couple of rounds. He has that equalising power though so Parker would have to be careful not to get caught.

Toss up fight where Whyte is much more proven and showed he can stay with aggressive fighters who he can out box when he wants too do that. I would favor whyte here slightly on he should look very good in his next fight. Hes also a harder puncher than Parker with the body shots.Ring IQ advantage also to Whyte who usus different angles and can switch style and tempo up much better than Parker. Parker hasnt been in witha true puncher yet either. whyte has more than enough power to get his attention.

right now if they fought i would take whyte.

How is Whyte more proven? Whyte's only solid win is Chisora... calling him an equal win to Takam is generous.
Parker has Takam, Ruiz and now Hughie Fury. Andy Ruiz is a solid puncher, and while maybe not as big a puncher as Whyte he more importantly is technically better than Whyte (read: more effective puncher).

One thing is for certain. We can always count on you to make some irrational post. Whyte has fought an over the hill journeyman, Chisora, barely won and one good fighter in AJ, where he was "high-lite" reel KOed. Yet you think Whyte is more proven?

Ruiz is a solid puncher against who? The guy is short overweight counter puncher heavy on the feet? Whyte boxes circles around that guy we all know it. Whyte has gone 7 with Joshua and fought pressure guys before,he is harder to figure out than one way Parker who cant mix it up like Whyte can. Whyte already knows he has Parkers number right now which is why hes been looking for that fight close to 2 years now. IF they fought next Whyte probably wins which is also why Parker will not go into the top ten yet and he holds a belt doesnt he?

Whats even more counting on is my prediction percentage wins isnt it? Whats yours?lol

Last time i checked NINETY percent of this forum went against one of my HW predictions not long ago and was told i didnt know about boxing ( how irrational was that?) ..... what matters is knowing what you are talking about not what you THINK you know isnt it? lol

True very irrational picking a bigger stronger ,more balanced skilled and experienced fighter in Whyte who also fights southpaw over a guy who just struggled ( though winning convincinley) against Hughie fury who has NO power? Yes VERY irrational here...

Because Whyte is a Joshua victim, and he's an AJ super fan.
