Does that mean he automatically loses? Hrgovic has been avoided by several guys in the past but I’ve never been blown away by him. I think him vs Parker would be a highly competitive and close fight.
Parker, compared to Zhang, looked like a CW. He is though on the best 2 fight winning streak - at HW - of recent years. Said it on another thread, he fights AJ late 2025 after AJ / Fury. Parker has age on his side, once AJ, Usyk, Fury, Wilder, Zhang depart, he takes the crown(s). Only obstacle to this is AJ saying he has 5 more years left. I can't see him beating AJ.
I'd want Parker to win but I have an annoying feeling Parker will at times be hesitant and Hrgovic will shove that jab in his face. If Parker gets a knockdown though, it will be interesting.
This guy is just another forum troll, he will disappear when everybody starts ignoring him, just like most of the rest.
I feel sorry for anyone fighting rabbit punchovic, hopefully Parker can put that myth to bed for good.
Tough fight for both of them, Parker has had a good recent run but make no mistake this is a much harder fight than Wilder and Zhang. Hrgovic will go right at Parker and put it on Parker and won't be relying on just landing a single hard shot to end the fight, he'll keep coming and look to break Parker down. But Parker is the best fighter Hrgovic will have faced as a pro and Parker's speed is hard to prepare for as there's few heavyweights with his hand speed. He'll no doubt have no problem finding Hrgovic's chin as Hrgovic has no head movement and Parker in his last two fights faced bigger men so will be more than ready to deal with the size of Hrgovic. Might simply come down to who wants it more. In this department I give the edge to Parker, the way Hrgovic reacted to being hurt by Zhang, turning away, looking as if he didn't want to be there at times, compared to Parker when hurt by Zhang just got on with it and returned to what he was doing. That extra experience Parker has, having gone to the well numerous times in fights he's struggled in, having been hardened by facing much better opposition, unlike Hrgovic who's faced one good fighter his whole career as a pro, that right now for me will be the deciding factor in what will likely be a tough, gruelling fight.
Interesting fight, Parker is very difficult to hit clean though and seems to have found a bit more aggression these days. Hrgovic has allot of talent but seems to be a bit one paced at times. Also doesn't fight enough. I'll go Parker decision. Wonder if hrgovic might fight dubious on the fury usyk undercard.
*wins by rabbit punch This is a terrible take given Hrgovic has never beaten anyone on Parker’s level and arguably lost the one big fight he had against Zhang. Aside from that he’s knocked out a bunch of journeymen with some of the worst rabbit punches I’ve seen.
