If Parker wanted Joshua he would have got him. He had a LEGAL claim to the fight which was to be enforced by the IBF.
If Parker enforced his mandatory option and AJ went and fought Wlad he would have been stripped of the belt.
Its a very simple situation to understand.

 

Joshua would have been stripped if he chose to not fight Parker.

It wasn't realistically feasible for Parker to remain inactive for over 6-9 months while Joshua fought Klitschko

Joshua had the chance to defend it, instead he decided to cash out. It's called a duck.

He could have easily defended against Parker and then if he was as good as fools like you believe he is , he'd have won and then had the opportunitiy to set up a unification with Klitschko or whoever was the holder of the vacant belts.
