You're probably right. However Parkers over there for boxing not for talking. Obviously press conferences is a huge highlight for you and I hope Don Warren and Big Mick or whatever their names are, put on a good performance (press conference) for you but for us Parker fans, we just want Hughie to stop talking about the fight and come and fight.

Pretty sure Hughie would have zero intention of pulling out this time, otherwise why arrange it to be in the UK?

Like others have said, i too don't rate Hughie, but Parker's last performance was abysmal.

I think you're judging us by your own standards. Jorge Linares has had two great wins on points over here within the last 9 months. Also, Lenroy Thomas got a great SD win over Dave Allen on the Brook vs Spence undercard last month. Speaking of Brook vs Spence, didn't all 3 judges have Spence up on the scorecards at the time of the stoppage?

I say all this, but only this weekend, I have seen one of the most embarrassing, pathetic, inept judging performances, by a single judge, ever on British shores. That judge was America's own, Clark Sammartino. It was so bad the British Boxing Board of Control have already said that he will never officiate on these shores again. I know judges get away with that kind stuff in the States, but not here, pal.

    Bad decisions?

    Two words - Maurice Hooker.

    Simply embarassing, especially against Perez.

I reckon Hughie has a reasonable chance here. I don't particularly rate Hughie but I'm not so hot on Parker either. He is too upright and has little head movement when closing the gap to start attacks and he doesn't move laterally enough when under fire, most of the time he goes strictly backwards. Two big defensive flaws that I've said about him since before the Takam fight (desperately needs a new trainer IMO). He's tailor made for any decent tall guy with a good jab and smart movement.

I'm still hoping Hearn does his thang and swoops in to steal the fight for Whyte instead. Will be a way more entertaining fight.

I agree judges can, and do get away with it everywhere. We can all bring up bad decisions from all over the world. I just don't necessarily think that away fighters necessarily need to get the ko for the win. Not at bouts for world championships anyway.

I just hope the fight happens. Any fight with a Fury atm just seems doomed from the start. Would suck if Fury pulled out again for another bull**** reason.
