Joseph Parker vs. Hughie Fury To Take Place In The UK In September

Parker does want and needs the UK exposure as its the place to be right now for the heavyweight scene and of course, money.

Duco paid $4 million for the purse bid and with that the hosting rights earlier this year. It was all about the hosting rights. Now a few months later, Hughie is fighting where he always wanted.

 

Hopefully Duco will get to set up the event - and make the money back.

 

I do not look forward to team Fury fights anymore. They pull out of more fights than they fight. I would say this is a 50 50 fight. Both fighters have not really fought any top notch fighters yet. I say Ortiz could beat both of these guys on the same night. I'm not really sold on Fury or Parker. Tyson Fury on the other hand is a idiot. He has the talent to beat anyone but he has loose screws in his head.

 

After fury pulled out of the NZ fight, it turned into a shambles. Sparring partner announced, change of venue, few pay per views, 3000 capacity verses 10,000.
Parker fought badly.
Then DUCO fractured and got split up
The bottom line is that due to being stood up by Fury, the promoter can't take the risk and run this in NZ any more.
So Furys team have a lot to answer for and I hope he takes a real beating.

 

Sadly the Furies have done themselves no favors....

 

Hard to see Parker knocking out any top 15 HW, even harder to see him getting a decision in the UK.

I guess we'll find out if Hughie is a top 15 guy.

Hughie managed to turn up for his TBA opponent exhibition fight. Just proving that when he is up against a punching bag, he manages to be able to turn up.

Anyway Hughie thanks for showing up. I hope you turn up for Parker instead of being a little gypsy girl and ducking him again

 

I knew Whyte would show up lol. Fury first then Wilder next is what I want to see for Joe.

 

Hughie will cancel the fight with Parker once again, but not until a few days before the fight, however, if the fight is in the UK will the judges be fair if Parker does not knock him out?

 

Duco is running the promotion in the UK.

If Parker knocks him out then there would be no need to go to the judges, unless of course Parker does it illegally. I'm sure Joe would have learnt from his close brush with the laws of boxing when he fought Dimintrenko.

Doesn't matter where its at, they can't deny a knockout victory. Now that you bring up the overseas factor, I hope Joe is very careful of what he eats or drinks over there. We don't want him to all of a sudden test positive for something.
