I think this is a great match up of styles. Hughie the long outside boxer, good footwork, jab and combinations but lacking in the power department. Parker has very fast hands, powerful combinations and jab when he uses it but has bad defense. I think a fight like this for the vacant WBO belt if Fury is stripped would be very entertaining. Thoughts on the match up and winner?
Seeing as it's only a few days away from a Parker who has been working hard on fixing the holes in his game gets to fight someone as big as/bigger than Hughie gets a go against someone decent then will measure further. I understand that Fury has been dealing with health issues but whether or not he has been at 100% the Fury that I've seen fighting is not going to be able to offer a lot more than some good ring work for Parker to notch up another but I appreciate that it's probably not that simple.
You really have to ask? Parker only has problems against good boxers with power, and Hughes lacks power.
Hughie Fury isn't ready for HW boxing he's a 22 year old kid with no power. As soon as soon he gets put in with someone who will walk through his punches he will be on his back. If I was him I would take the Joshua fight, 2mil in the bank and he's fought for a world title at the age of 22. He can come again he's only young
I honestly don't think Parker is a big puncher at the top level and I think Fury is the better boxer in my opinion it's a 50/50.
Parker would smash Hughie. He's got zero power and that'll be an issue for him when he finally steps up. He's probably off the sauce now which doesn't bode well for the future considering he hardly set the world alight before.
Apart from his name, I simply don't understand the attention Hughie Fury gets. He's simply not very good.
Parker lifts Hughie up and bounces him off the canvas and stops him in 5 rounds. Hughie will not take the fight. Not even his family think he is ready to step out of the bum/Euro level.
His own trainer and family members admit he is not ready to go above the "bum circuit" and step it up to even to the likes of Dylan Whyte. Parker is 2 levels above Whyte.
