Hughie stinks out every ring, has no power and no idea how he beats Parker based on what we have seen so far in his career.
Hughie or Haye whoever is available first will be the next Parker opponent. With Haye tied up bashing Bellew up that means its Hughie.
Team Parker never wanted Haye. They said as much earlier in the year when his coach spewed a load of BS about better opponents being available. The Bellew fight has been a god send for them judging him on his performance against Ruiz.
I'm not impressed by Parker at all. I think Hughie would rise to the occasion and possibly even stop Parker
Am I the only person who has never been impressed by Hughie - nice fast hands but no snap or power, and very plodding. When I see him, I am always reminded of Ali's "revenge of the mummy" impression of Foreman. Anyhow, Peter Fury, for all his "bringing 'em up tough" talk has always been pretty careful with his matchmaking. Seems unlikely that he would throw Hughie in with a young, progressive, far more proven fighter when Hughie is just recovering from a long medical time-out.
This could be an interesting match up in the future. Hughie Fury has a very awkward style which could trip up the likes of Parker and Wilder but it's a step too far for him right now imo. He's been unfortunate with this illness and it's hindered his career and progress.
Isn't it an amazing coincidence that both Hughie and Tyson Fury have both had these 'illnesses' and 'injuries' the same time they have both been suspended and banned for failing drug tests.
Think we've seen Parker's limitations in terms of levels already, though I also suspect people were a little harsh when rating Ruiz. That said, I think Hughie gets a bit more credit than he deserves on here at times. It wouldn't be a good fight to watch but I'd like to see it so we can really pinpoint where these guys are at
