Joseph Parker vs Joe Frazier, Ike Ibeabuchi, Alexander Povetkin

Frazier drags Parker into a hellish war, Ibeabuchi catches a gunshy Parker after a couple of rounds, but Parker could beat Povetkin.

 

Interesting.

Frazier has much better stamina. Parker might stun him, perhaps score a flash knockdown with an uppercut. But Parker isn't a massive hitter like Foreman nor is he quick footed enough to stay away from Frazier. Frazier likely UD's him in a close fight.

Ibeabuchi is a bigger hitter than Parker and if Joseph trades with him aka Joyce, he gets stopped. But if Parker boxes carefully, it could be interesting. I am going with Ibeabuchi to win a decision as i think he can maintain a higher work rate.

I think him vs Povetkin is super interesting. I need to think about this.

 

Frazier would demolish Parker late in the fight. Parker just wouldn't be able to handle Frazier's relentlessness.

Ibeabuchi and Povetkin tough ones though. With Ibeabuchi - I think Parker would try and box him off but would struggle to consistently find enough success, and would lose fairly close on points.

Povetkin in his prime? I think would honestly be a similar outcome to Ibeabuchi.

I like Parker but these guys he has beaten are very different fighters to the ones listed in Frazier, Ibeabuchi, Povetkin. Wilder was completely finished and is technically very mediocre. Zhang is very limited but still gave Parker huge problems. Bakole has only proven to be a strong gatekeeper in his career.

Frazier, Ibeabuchi, Povetkin would have all absolutely smashed up the versions of Wilder and Bakole, and Zhang that Parker fought.

 

Joe Frazier is superior to all the names of the list.

Ibeabuchi & Povetkin are superiors of Parker.

but leans what is povetkin in the agragate? i'm still not sure how good a career he had. like. yeah...long serving champion and contender but...what does he go down as? guy fought some good fighters but looked bad against them. beat some shot fighters and looked excellent. valuev had a better career on paper which is a shocker.

not trying to knock him. but it's mad to think he was this young ferocious boxer puncher with all the arsenal. heavyweight world champion...yet i dont know what dent he really made in the overall scene.

i think parker has at least proven he can deal with punchers, swarmers, counterpunchers. and i think povetkin especialy the post 2018 version could have been dealt with.

 

ibeabuchi lives on 2 fights...but then again. don't most fighters.

just think Ike is everything wrong for parker.

 

All open, competitive, close bouts, but I would pick against Parker in all 3 of them

Frazier vs Parker would be a repeat of Frazier vs Bugner.

 

Frazier is a guy who I think would've benefitted the most from having access to modern S&C and roids.
