Parker's team say talks have begun and they expect a written offer soon.

    Your thoughts on this matchup?

Could be a fun fight, Parker is a lot faster than Joyce, I think it’s a 50/50 fight, hope Parker wins.

A battle of who outworks who

    Probably a big stalemate

Joyce's long range work too slow. Parker's long range work falls short.

Neither are knocking each other out

Parker just about closes the range fast enough to land a shot or two, Joyce lands a counter or two and touches him gently with his jab.

Parker takes early rounds then slows late and Joyce takes over. Closeish decision to one of them.

How quickly does Joyce enter juggernaught mode. Does Parker find a 2nd wind and the devil in his work finally or just cruises?

Not overly interested in this bout to be honest lot of ingredients to be a stinker but also it's the subtle things that can't really be analysed that could make it a barnstormer. Parker will have his possum mentality against Joyce though.

Be interesting to see how Joyce is able to negate Parker's fast speed with his slow-fast speed

    Pickem really

I think if Parker can bring that extra aggression with speed he will win

    Good fight

    60/40 Joyce

Joyce's stamina is better. Parker starts out fast, steals many of the early rounds, but his stamina starts to decline and Joyce takes over in the 2nd half.

I can see Joyce winning a close decision or maybe even a late TKO.

Has the potential to be brain-damage inducing.

Both steel-chinned, both hard working fighters in the ring.

I marginally favour the Juggernaut, but Parker impressed against Chisora (II) and if he can bring that version of himself to bear on Joyce he has an excellent chance.

But, until that happens the Chisora II fight was a one-off and parker is still the 'no knock-out nice guy' of the Heavyweight division.

It's a good fight. JJ has a bit more class but hasn't been particularly active lately. JP could out-hustle him.

I'd go with JJ but JP has a great chance of getting it done. Good fight for both guys, I reckon. The type that should get made & that boxing fans generally will have an interest in.

Look forward to it. Joyce looks effective but limited same could be said of Parker. Who can impose his style on the other. Interesting

    "Talks ongoing".

FFS sake putting these HW bouts together are as bad as NATO-Russia-Ukraine talks.

What happened to Parker - Ruiz 2 talks, I would like to see Joyce vs Hrgovic. Joyce vs Parker would be a very good fight too, I hope something gets made and not just talks.

Close fight but I'm going with JJ. He seems a bit more determined to accomplish something in boxing.

JJ is an overachiever and JP is a bit of an underachiever. I'm taking JJ.

Maybe Ruiz will fight Hrgovic now, but I highly doubt it.

Parker wins by decision. JJ ain't cracking his chin and he's too slow to outbox him.
