BESt version of Ortiz beats the best version of Parker, the best version of Parker beats Ortiz if Ortiz isn't motivated.
1) Which fighter has the better resume? Wilder and Jennings are good names but I think Ortiz had a hard time getting good opponents and thats why I'd say its fairly even. They both fought Daniel Martz who Joe KO'd in the first round and Ortiz finished in the second so both early knockouts. Yeah even. 2) Who would win in a head to head battle today? You asked about today. Well Ortiz coming off a knockout lost just a few days ago would probably lose if he fought young Joe today. Joe would win IMO. 3) Who is the Better Fighter Overall? (H2H, Legacy, etc) I think the better fighter overall is Ortiz but he's on the decline and he still hasnt won a belt. He's not on the way up and in the second half of that fight with Wilder, his age IMO became a factor. Ortiz who is 40 this year now has a loss, this could be his last good year for his body. Parker is 26 and is already a champion. Joes got another 10 good years if he chooses to.
Why are you copying my posts???? At least give me 5% ...lol.....I don't know who this is but come'on this is the several posts I've seen on here from box scene that I posted...from other poster on here with doing this...you guys can't at least configure it to somehow not be word for word? You have to paste and copy it as well? Its good to see my work getting used but let's knock it off......
Ortiz easily in a boring decision but might get robbed in the end if its in NZ or anywhere actually , Parker got unexpected for some decision vs H.Fury in England after all.
Wow.... wildly presumptuous picks and posts. Ortiz power was on full display vs the 214lb thin and clumsy Deontay Wilder. But....he wobbled him with a peach, but so did Molina. So did Stiverne. So did Duhaupas. Unlike the afformentions B level fights, he's only been out down by a journeyman. Ortiz has some nice KOs and some excellent flow. But when Wilder got him with a peach, he was doing his best Zab Judah dancing with the Stars audition. Parker has taken the power of several top HWs, none on Wilders level I know, and hasn't so much as shown a buzz. Parker's power also usnt Wilder level, but how do we really know. His opponents, much better overall than Wilders preOrtiz, have been KTFO or withstood the shots exactly as was expected prefight. Ortiz has 16 yrs experience on Joe. In just 2/3 yrs JoeP will be more savvy, stronger, more fluid and more confident. And Joe P ktfo Povetkin
I'd root like nothing else for Joe, it's just that the analytical part of my brain can't see past Ortiz's skills. And I'm not sure Joe has the power to bail himself out like Wilder did.
The only unexpected thing about the Parker win in England is that he wasn't robbed when he narrowly beat Hughie. Seems people now call it a robbery when the away fighter doesn't get robbed in England
1. I think they are about even in resume. Ortiz's wins are slightly better, and he looked slightly better doing it, but he now has the loss. If Parker loses to AJ, I'd give Ortiz the slight edge. 2. Another close call. I'll give Ortiz the slight edge but would not be surprised at all by Parker winning 3. Maybe slight edge to Parker since he does technically have a world championship and Ortiz never did.
At this time it's a very close one.I'd maybe give Ortiz the nod,but only just.Like 55/45 just. I was going to add prime for prime, but one is past his, and the other probably hasn't reached his yet,so that didn't work.
