I think this would be a great fight, who do you think would win?

Parker easy decision. I feel his size advantage and speed will be too much for Gassiev to handle. Yes Gassiev can hit hard, but Parker also takes a punch well too and I don't see how Gassiev outboxes Parker. Hearn should be looking to make matches like this instead of chucking them both on crappy undercards in the middle of nowhere.

    liver conditioned?

Might happen too. He is young, might had improved.

Not possible to tell, is he now capable to fight vs guys from top 25. He had been with long inactivity period and had been reported in media that he had injury.
    We might see different reality.
    I do not know.

Parker doesn't have a size advantage over Gassiev.

Now it is necessity to see if lad does have shape to fight with top 25.
If injury and long period without fights after this.

    Parker has no size advantage.

Gassiev throws incredible combinations of hooks to the body, hooks to the head, uppercuts, and right hands, every one of them with power.

Not an easy night for Parker.

I'll lean toward Gassiev, my opinion of Parker has sort of waned as time passes.

Povetkin vs Gassiev would be tasty. Parker vs Gassiev would be a draw

Gassiev is faster, more powerful and way better.
Gassiev by brutal ko before the 6th

I think Gassiev is likely to be pedestrian at H/W. His assets at Cruiser, strength & punching power, won't be as pronounced.

Gassiev should probably stick to that new Bridgerweight division. For wannabe H/W's who don't have what it takes to rule the roost against the big boys.

Parker is in a rebuilding phase but does have a decent fight on the horizon that will lift his stock. Should have fought this month imo but let's see what he can do next year.

Who wins in a fight between them? I'll take the legitimate H/W contender over the wannabe.

A CW coming in to face someone who goes into fights at 240-245 would suggest that he does especially as he hasn't had a proper high level fight at HW.

Gassiev weighed in at 230 on his heavyweight debut so any doubts about him being too small should be readily disspelled. The man has good fundamentals, a fantastic high guard and great punching power. He should be a good top 10 contender at some point if he pushes on. I'd say the likes of Breazeale, Washington, Helenius or Martin would be perfect fights to determine his punching ability at heavyweight, see how he deals with bigger hard punching men and place him highly in the rankings of various sanctioning bodies.

Man... Parker has much worse footwork than Usyk, is slower than Usyk, has less ring IQ than Usyk, worse jab than Usyk, I can't see how Parker wins this. Gassiev has been underrated since he lost to Usyk.
