Looks like Parker has his eye on his next opponent.

    Vinny Maddalone
    Won 37 ( KO 28 ) + Lost 8 ( KO 5 ) + Drawn 1

Maddalone has lost twice to Brian Minto. The Minto that Parker wiped the floor with. That being said, his first fight with Minto was in 04...

    Thoughts?

Thoughts? I hope it's not PPV. That to me is not PPV worthy. Would fans pay for that down in Australia and NZ? So much for a "top ten" contender. I will say this though, it's a smart opponent for Parker. For once his promoter doesn't seem to be rushing him.

Very smart opponent. Keep feeding him shop worn guys with good experience. Parker is a blue chip prospect that needs a little more seasoning. He got hit a little too much by right hands from Tank. After this I would look for the winner of Adamek/Sziplka.

Either of the Poles would be out of reach financially I'd think.

His team are also targeting the Leapai-Scott winner which would be better than this.

Browne and De Mori said no to a lucrative offer according to the Duco propaganda. I can understand Browne not wanting it, the position he has worked himself into. But De Mori has been calling out David Haye and doesn't want to use Parker as a stepping stone to Haye and a world title? Incredible :D
