Joseph Parker vs Zhilei Zhang II (the rematch): who will win?

I had it a genuine 50-50 in the first bout.


I'm edging Parker this time if they fight again. But not by a huge amount.

Zhangs gas tank is defo not the best but he can still potentially starch Parker early on.

Just as he could against pretty much anyone if he catches them clean.

As for the first bout though, I have no preference for either fighter as I like both blokes.

If they go again, let the best man win, again.

 

Parker is sheer class, love the guy and will support him whoever he fights including fury or Usyk

Zhang bought into his own hype and fell in love with his own power , the result clearly being he didn't train as hard as he should have. Parkers confidence is absolutely surging right now though and tactically he got everything right, I'm actually more interested for the second fight than I was in the first one. If Zhang makes the necessary adjustments, comes in lighter and fitter.... Nah, Parker still

 

This all hinges on Zhang. If he can throw punches past the 6 rnd he takes it. As for Parker he fought brilliant and landed a few very hard power punches that didnt phase Zhang. Parker needs to follow the same plan but up the tempo. Make Zhang throw early and miss. Zhang will gas and frustration will set in.

Perhaps Parker starts favourite this time. But probably a 50/50 fight.

About to turn 41, Zhang will be in freefall should he lose again.

 

I feel for Parker having to take a rematch for a clear win. Zhang only needs one shot so I think it’s still 50/50

 

If Zhang shows up and actually decides to throw punches in more than 3 rounds he has a good chance. Otherwise he loses a UD again.
