I actually like that match up. Pulev would stand off pumping the jab allowing Parker to fight his kind fight, he does best vs stationary guys that don't pressure him too much and force him onto the back foot too much. He could let his combinations go vs Pulev.
Parker is still a well-known "star" in the UK - and that is also where the money is. They will aim at UK again
Is he? I didn't know he was a star over there. He's probably as popular over in the UK as Wilders is in the US
Whyte's rematch with Joshua proves he can get another big payday. Beat a couple of gate keepers and he's almost there.
I'm not all that sure he will beat Allen though. If Allen turns up in shape he ought to have a good chance against current Browne.
He's not. Hardly anyone has heard of him if we're talking casual interest fans here. If he walked down the street he'd be mistaken for an All Black not a pro-boxer. Plus, he's a like a wet firework to watch. You expect entertainment but it just fizzles out. I'm not sure where these "boxing in the UK megastardom" opinions come from. Like that clown Vykus who likes to make out Browne is some working-class hero over here. Trust me, he's not, not even amongst more than causal boxing fans. Aside from once every 3-4 months, it's a fringe sport, and that's from someone who hates football and can just about watch rugby.
Parker should have a UK warm up v the winner of Browne/Allen or Price for fight #1 The type of fight where he can lets his hands go, try new tactics out, etc. Then step up to someone in the Top 15 - 20 for fight #2. Kabayel maybe? After that, you are looking at the Whyte rematch, Chisora for the tough gig or maybe even Usyk for #3. Wilder v Parker would interest me a lot. I think JP would break Wilder down. He is only 26, he has time on his side.
