I would see him against Filip Hrgovic, what do you think?

    Would love to see it
Filip wins imo but in NZ with a crowd of 1000 and id be dubious about the judges
Doubt the moneys there so expect a tune up type fight

I thought his managers comments in regard to fighting Usyk were bordering on delusional. I like joe but he's not done a great deal in the sport and as yet hasn't shown much of a following outside nz

I think Parker is absolutely finished, at the highest level.

He had his time to shine against AJ and Whyte and bottled it twice.

    Hrgovic would ruin him.

It has been 2 years since his last big fight. Since then he has fought 3 bums in nothing fights, and is still with the same trainer and manager.

I have seen the trajectory of fighters when they are undefeated for a long time and then lose a couple on the bounce, and it doesnt look good Joe. It looks terminal.

I think Joseph Parker is a good but not great heavyweight. He did bottle it against Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte but I suspect that Filip Hrgovic is overrated, possibly even more so than Michael Hunter.

Throw the wounded samoan warrior into the donut dome with Ruiz, and watch him get picked apart by that ferocious blob. Revenge will be a second course meal for Andy.

I’d get what u were saying if he was 32/33 but hes 28. He gave Joshua too much respect but the Whyte fight was razor close with the incorrect knockdown call

    Sure he is.
He'll bust up the Tom Little v Lucas Browne contest by snatching one for a NZ pay day.

Strange to say a former world champion has done nothing in the sport mate he has done more than 99% of others in the sport.
I'm not a fan of Joe really as I feel he is too much of a nice guy and needs to be more ruthless but to suggest he has not done much in boxing is bordering on rediculouse.

Perhaps I worded it poorly. I respect what he's done, but I was responding to the comments his manager made about him being a massive draw and Usyk having to recognise that Parker was the A side.

I just think Usyk has achieved enough in the sport to require a little more respect than that.

Did Higgins come out with that gubbins?

Needs to wake up and realise unfortunately Parker is at the top of the "don't need him" club

Parker is well known in UK as well as NZ

He is young enough to make another run - and dangerous enough to beat virtually anyone.
