we're getting a Smokin' Joe Parker instead of a Billy Joe Parker this time around Still, I'm sorry to say he's going to get FTKO
On the face of it Femi should win this handily but as has been said he has shown some frailties of his own. Parker might just be showing up for his big check, if so he will be knocked out via Brit stoppage or worse.
Hopefully both guys are in great shape and hopefully we get to see a great fight like Joshua vs Klitschko.
I'm hoping for a classic. Parker isn't as good as Wlad though and I expect AJ to be comfortably ahead at the end.
hoping parker wins.. I think his handspeed if hes at his best could confuse or trouble Joshua abit.. or may just me being biased since parkers my favorite fighter In the sport lol
He hasn't fought since Nov 2017 - its why he had a total break over Christmas for recovery, seeing as it isn't the most . The injury has been plaguing him since the Kali Meehan fight, though I am a bit concerned about how little recovery time they have allowed him before the biggest fight of his life so far. Hope this doesn't backfire, though they seem very happy with how he is going.
A very good article on the injuries- https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/comba...again-parker-says-of-successful-elbow-surgery
Parker used to look pretty handy - good movement, decent handspeed, reasonable footwork. Then he fought Ruiz, got exposed and looked like sh*t. That continued against Fury. I don't know whether it was just a step up in competition that made Parker look like sh*t, or whether it was something else. I guess we will see against Joshua, but Parker would want to of improved on his last fight if he is to get out of the early rounds.
