Joseph Parker's return to form

Both Joshua and Wlad set up punches by controlling the lead hand space aka lead hand dominance. Parker does none of that. He just wings is.

 

No - he hovers just outside of range - darting in to attack with power combinations.

That is his general plan with tall powerful guys. Usually KOs them....

 

Parker has had surgery on both elbows due to pain, with the final surgery in December of last year.

He mentioned he was punching in pain and could not straighten the jab in the run up to the Hughie stinkfest.

Whatever happens, we should not see any excuses from Parker if he loses unless its a tight UD to AJ with dodgy judging. And of course that never happens with the A side cash cow fighter fighting on home soil

 

Ha. Read the article and lowered my thinking on Parker's chances by a wee bit.

 

No - it means AJ is in trouble....

 

Parker is at a massive reach disadvantage... If he cant close the distance he's getting bang out. Darting in and out is a dangerous game to play when the other guy hits like a truck.. It also potentially give AJ a lot of time to rest and reload... Parker has to get in side and really work...Just think the physical dimensions will be too much
