    Round 2

Díaz is plodding in behind a high right jab. Pérez squats and whacks him with long body shots. Pérez deflects a right hook off the back of his left wrist and continues poking with both hands at the body. Pérez is working from low to high, and shrinking down with his guard up when Díaz tries a plummeting straight left counter. Pérez with pretty consistent uppercuts scoring downstairs, now looping shots up top, backing Díaz up. Díaz jabbed in the gut and frozen a moment. Díaz looking old. 1-2 by Pérez bursting through Díaz's guard. Looping left on the bottom of the chin and upper throat by Díaz as he's getting shredded to his body.

    10-9 Pérez

    20-18 Pérez

Díaz looked fat as hell at 200lbs in 2020 and like freaking E.T. at the weigh-in for this yesterday at 138lbs.

He should just retire, and split the difference and enjoy being a slightly pudgy ~170ish walking-around.

    Round 1 Perez 10-9
    Round 2 Perez 10-9
Round 3 Diaz 10-9, very close

Diaz outworked him ever so slightly, still Perez with the heavier shots.

    Round 3

Díaz is looking to rumble in spots, but Pérez with the quicker hands and landing with a bit more variety to body and head in multiples. Pérez is turning southpaw to mirror him now, and backing Díaz up with long lead lefts from the rear-hand position. Díaz is clapped with a left hook as Pérez returns to his native orthodox while grazing with a right hook of his own.

    10-9 Pérez, close

    30-27 Pérez
